Chapter 5

*Jess*

I woke up and Matt was in a deep sleep so i didn't even bother to wake him up. I slipped out of his embrace and changed in teh bathroom into some decent clothes. I came out and noticed our room had a balcony. I opened the sliding glass door and stpped outside. I put my elbows on the railing and leaned againest it. The chilly morning air feeling good as it wrapped itself around me over and over again.

Was I really in Matt Tuck's hotel room? When we broke it off, i swore I would never go near him again. He tore me apart. But being near him reminds me of the nice days that made me fall in love with him.

Truth was I never fell out. And apparently he didn't either.

In the middle of my thoughts my phone started ringing. I reached into my pocket to retrieve it. Alex was calling. I pressed answer.

"Hey!" I greeted her.

"Hey," She replied.

"Are you back at the house?" Yeah we lived together, wierd I know but hey, we were like sisters.

"Yeah, how's Matt?" She asked and I could hear her eyebrow raise.

"I haven't really had a conversation with him. He's not even awake," I responded.

"Just be careful. I don't want you to get hurt," She said, "I love you, sister. And I want all the details when you get back home!"

I laughed, "Sure thing. I love you too."

Wiht that, the line disconnected.

I stuffed my phone back into my pocket and went back to leaning againest the railing. Man, he better wake up soon. I actually want to have a conversation with him before he has to leave. As if my thoughts summoned him. I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist. I turned my head and saw Matt smiling down at me. I turned around to face him.

"Hey, love," He greeted me and planted a kiss on my lips.

"Hey"

He hugged me closely and I let my head fall againest his chest.

"I missed you, Jess," He said out of the blue.

"I missed you too."

And I did. With my entire being.
