Feeling like I was in a dream, I fell back onto Ian's warm, soft sheets feeling like I was floating lightly on a fluffy white cloud. I snuggled up to one side of the bed, almost hugging a big chunk of the soft sheets before I took notice of the digital clock on Ian bedside table and my eyes flew wide open as I flung myself upright on his bed. School had started 10 minutes ago!

I was going to head straight back home since I had to get dressed for school but had no idea how, I was in my wooly blue pyjama top with a teddy sewn in to the middle and my blue pyjama bottoms. There was no way I could go out there wearing this and I had no clothes to change into here, well except for yesterdays clothes but I wasn't going to wear those, obviously.

I decided the best thing to do was to wake Ian up, I couldn't ruin my perfect attendance record and I wasn't planning on it.

"Ian! wake up!" I slightly whispered, shaking him with my hands.

He simply nudged, me off and turned around to face the wall before continuing his quiet snoring.

I sighed, "Ian!!" I loudly spoke, shaking him more harshly than before, "Wake up!!"

His eyes slowly opened seconds before closing again after being exposed to the light shining through the window.

"What?" He managed to slur out of his mouth, sounding irritated.

"We're late, for school! hurry get up!" I sort of screamed, getting impatient.

"So?" He simply whispered before stretching his long tan arms to yawn.

His eyes were fully open now and he looked at me before slowly getting up and out of his sheets. As lifts his body upwards, he winced and layed back down.

"What happened? are you okay?" I asked him, worried.

"My back and my neck aches" He whispered trying to move his head from side to side.

"This is why we don't sleep on the floor! you could have at least slept on the couch" I started lecturing him.

"The couch is downstairs" He mumbled.

"So?" I questioned.

"I wanted to stay near you" He exclaimed, as my natural rosy pink lips couldn't help but form a sweet smile and my cheeks started to turn red.

All he did was let out a slight chuckle.

"Maybe you should just rest on the bed for now" I advised him.

"I can't get up, I guess you'll just have to carry me" He chuckled.

"Ian, I have the upper body strength of a twig" I joked making him chuckle a third time now. I glanced at the alarm clock, seeing that there was absolutely no chance of getting to school on time so I decided to just give up and besides Ian needs taking care off.

Suddenly we heard a loud bang of the front door and the roaring sound of Ian's mom calling for him. She was back.

"Ignore her" Ian told me rolling his eyes.

I suddenly remembered what Ian had told me a couple of days ago about his mom, and questions quickly filled up my small round head.

"Ian.." I quietly whispered as he looked at me, "A few days ago, you told me your mum killed someone" I finished as a saw him gulp.

"Yea um, I think I was drunk, forget about that. let's get you to school" He quickly dodged my remark as he began to stand up and walked over to his desk to look at his digital alarm clock.

"What happened to your back and neck?" I asked him, narrowing my eyes in suspicion.

He stared at me for a while with guilty eyes and quickly shrieked holding on to his neck.
