Taiya
The whole way home she was thinking about Damien and that empty look of his. He looked ao hurt.. but why? she kept asking herself, hoping that he's alright. she wanted to text him but she didn't have his phone number.
Taiya decided to go for a walk to thing about something else and also try to take some photos. She took her camera and went to the forest.
She was absolutely in love with the beautiful nature, it was so calming for her.
after like half an hour she started hearing a silent voice. it sounded like someone's crying. she looked around if there's someone. And then she saw him. Damien. she ran to him, Damien didn't even look at her, he probably didn't mentioned there's someone else. she hugged him since she felt like that's the right thing to do. "did something happen?" she asked with teary eyes. she didn't know what's going on with him, but seeing him crying was making her really sad. Damien looked deeply in her eyes and hugged her back. Taiya started stroking his hair and they just stayed like that for some time.
a few minutes passed and he finally stopped crying. "sorry" he said, "what are you sorry for?" asked Taiya. "for everything... seeing me like this and also that before.. Just sorry" he answered. "there's nothing to be sorry about and if i can ask.. what happend?" Taiya asked and so Damien told her.. "my mom died." after that sentence he had to take a deep breath and before he continued Taiya said "oh no i'm really sorry for that-" "it-it's okay... it didn't happened now it was few years back but.. she was always calling me 'Dami' she was the only one who was calling me like that and now.. when you called me like that it brought back all the memories in me and... well after she died my dad changed.. he started drinking a lot and now he's never sober and anytime he sees me he just-- he tells me that everything was my fault back then.. I just couldn't held myself back and get emotional... sorry" as Taiya was listening to the story her eyes get teary again. it's so sad that he had and still has to go through all of this. He doesn't deserve this... No one does. she hugged him tight again and said "i am really sorry for all of that and that i called you like that i'll never do it again.. it must've been hard for you" "nonono.. feel free to call me like that whenever you want, i actually liked it a lot when you called me that. it was just.. strange hearing it after a long time. thanks for listening to me" said Damien. "is there anything i can do for you?" Taiya asked and he answered right away "can you.. stay there with me for a bit?" "for as long as you'll want"
They were sitting there for a long time and then Damien decided to break the silence and asked Taiya of she's alright thinking bout that accident again. Taiya was kinda confused why's he asking something like that out of nowhere. when he saw the confusion in her eyes he told her "this isn't the first day i've met you actually. few days back when you fainted on the bridge.. I took you to the hospital. Did something happened to you?" "Oh- that was you? thanks. well... I actually was there to end this all.. I have amnesia now so i don't remember anything but my parents told me that i was bullied and that's why i wanted to commit a suicide. that's also why i switched the school in the middle of semester." she answered and Damien looked pretty surprised, not in the good way tho, he was feeling sad for her. "that sounds terrible i hope you'll be fine now and make better memories" instead of thanking him she smiled at him and he did the same. they were there for some more time and then decided to go home since it was a hit late already. Damien escorted her home. they were quiet the whole way but it wasn't like awkward silence, they just knew it's right at the moment. for both of them it felt kinda strange to be so opened to someone.. someone they don't even know that well but even this felt right to them.
