Chapter 16: "Biggest Fear"

Third-person POV

They have arrived at the restaurant, now we're waiting for Irene and Nayeon.

'Why she has to bring me? She knows that I hate Nayeon but still trying to get me close with her' Jennie thought, rolling her eyes.

"Are you okay?" Jisoo slowly waved her hand, and stare at Jennie worriedly

"Y-yeah" Jennie stutters, and Jisoo nodded in return

"Chu?" Jennie speak

"Hmm"

"Do you—" Jennie stops when an unfamiliar voice speaks, "Well, well, well" Irene called out before sighing, then managings to make a smile.

"hey," Jisoo stands up and gives Irene a friendly hug. Irene pulls away first and takes a sit on Jisoo's opposite seat.

"Nice to finally meet you, Jennie. Let's have a proper introduction, okay? My name is Bae Irene, Jisoo's best friend." She leans a hand to Jennie, and they shake hands. "And sorry for stealing your girlfriend earlier." Irene smiled

"It's okay, it's always happening anyway," Jennie said

"Where's Nayeon?" Jisoo asked, looking right into Irene's direction.

"She went to the restroom, she has something to deal with her stomach," Irene whispered, Jisoo smirked, and the younger look at her full of confusion.

"There she is" Irene welcomed as she saw Nayeon coming out from the restroom.

"Hi," Nayeon says after being seated next to Irene. Jennie smiled, a faked actually.

"Where have you been at school? I thought you wanted to watch the training." Jisoo says getting all the attention.

"I-I was in the Library, studying with Momo," Nayeon stutter, and Jisoo slowly nodded in understands.

They talked and laughed at each other jokes especially when Jisoo talk, Nayeon would directly become excited to listen to it.

"Do you have any thoughts of joining the School Trip this weekend?" Irene speak

"Nope, never," Jisoo replied without any hesitated

"Why not! You guys should join the school trip. We'll have fun there!" Irene recommends. Jisoo send Jennie a 'Help' signal and Jennie just send her a nod as she approved.

"Fine, we'll join." Jisoo groans, and Irene cheers in excitement. Nayeon similarly shows some exciting looks.

...

"You agree to join on the most boring school trip ever?!" Lisa asks furiously, she can't believe jisoo just agree to irene.

"It was Jennie's idea, you know I can't insist on her right?" Jisoo replied

"I am joining, no more arguments!" Lisa claimed, "Don't tell me you're gonna ask Rosé to join as well?" Jisoo predict

"I'll ask her" Lisa replied in a sassy way

Jennie POV

As the days come, my girlfriend got so busy with the training and couldn't even spend any time with her girlfriend! I'm upset, but I know I can't do anything. The training is her life.
