Ok so this is just a short one shot of Destiel for Doctor_Who_is_awsome I am trying to complete her challenge. I forgot to publish this yesterday, I hope this is still ok.
Sam and Dean got back to the Bunker from a hunt. Well, not all in one peice. Sam had Dean in his arms, as his older brother was unconcious. Tears stained Sam's cheeks, as he rested Dean on the couch.Cas walked into the room, holding a glass of whiskey.
"Hello, Sam, how was the-"
He stopped short once he saw Dean. The glass shattered as it slipped from Castiel's fingers.
"Dean." He ran to Dean's side.
"Sam, what happened?"
"I don't know," Sam's voice cracked, "we were after this vamp and he just got jumped. He lost a lot of blood."
Cas could feel the tears building up in his eyes.
"Is he gonna be alright?"
"I don't know. I really don't know." Sam teared up.
"Excuse me for a moment," Sam said, as he put a fist to his mouth and walked out of the room.
Castiel looked back at the hunter on the couch. He was beautiful. Cas recalled every time he looked into those green eyes, every moment when he was at a loss for words. Every time Dean would walk into the same room, Cas felt this unusual feeling in his stomach. He looked at Dean.
"Dean, you have to be ok." Cas felt a lump in his throat that only seemed to grow bigger. "You have to."
The dam broke in Cas's eyes and he sobbed. He was unfamiliar to the feeling of crying. Why was he? Why was this peculiar salty liquid leaking from his eyes? He was sad. He was angry. He was heartbroken.
Castiel looked back up at Dean, who's eyes were slowly opening.
"Dean?"
"Cas. Hey." Dean looked very sluggish. He was mumbling his words.
"Dean." Castiel cried into Dean's chest. "I thought you weren't gonna make it."
Dean wrapped his arms around the angel. "Who knew you had a heart."
"Dean, I could heal you."
"No. Cas, that would use your grace. You can't waste that on me."
"I would rather shorten my life then lose another person I love."
"L-Love?"
"I-I didn't mean to-. Sorry. I wasn't trying to make you uncomfort-"
Castiel was cut off by Dean. The hunter grabbed Cas's tie and pulled his face towards his, connecting their lips. Cas was taken aback by the gesture, but he didn't complain. He kissed Dean back, putting his hands on his chest.
Dean pulled away so they had enough space to breath. "You need to learn how to shut up for once."
"I hate you."
"No you don't," Dean pecked Cas on the lips and tried to stand, failing.
Cas lifted Dean, and helped him to his room. Just as he was about to leave, Dean called back for him.
"Wait, Cas."
"Yes Dean?"
"Will you stay in here with me?"
"Of course."
Cas crawled into bed with the green eyed man and wrapped his arms around his waist, resting his head on Dean's chest.
"I love you, Cas."
"I know."
