She left the small office with the small blue box tucked into her bag and a silly smile dancing on her lips. Nothing had occurred between her and Fred in the office and no jellies had been consumed either.
Fred had made Theia promise that she would wait till he got home before trying one - just in case there were any complications or weird side effects. His cheeks had flamed red when he had told her this and was quick to defend his creation.
But what he had said had only peeked her interest in the dragon jellies, wondering what weird side effects were in store for her later that night.
Not only was she excited for the jellies themselves but for the week of adventures that was to come. Fred, George and the rest of them all together could either end up being the best week of her life or one of them was going to end up in the hospital.
Or bleeding all over The Burrow's kitchen floor.
Her slender fingers brushed against the scar under her right eye, praying that it wouldn't be her.
The shop had gone quiet, save for the sound of the occasional firework exploding somewhere in the distance. This was not something she was used too. It was always excessively loud in here, things exploding, people rushing around, kids screaming and yelling at the different creations found throughout.
Fred has stayed back in the office to finish some last minute paperwork, saying he would be out in a few minutes. He had ushered her out of the office with nothing more than a swift kiss to the lips, telling her to go find the others.
It didn't take long to find the group of her friends, Hermione and Ron's bickering carrying throughout the store. Coming to stand at Selene's side, Theia looped her arm through the other woman's as she gave a gentle shake of her head to the bickering couple.
"Could you two please stop arguing for five minutes?" Theia laughed softly, resting her chin gently against Selene's shoulder.
"It's not my fault Ron doesn't listen." Hermione fired back at her, her anger at Ron turning onto Theia, "And you don't listen either."
Her gaze flickered from Hermione to Ron, Ron only giving Theia a frozen look of fear."And what is that supposed to mean?"
"You know exactly what I mean! You're still hiding your feelings for—"
"Hermione, I'm not doing this here." Theia held up a hand to cut her friend off but not before she could stop her cheeks from burning, "We can talk about this later."
Her feelings for Fred were still a sensitive topic. Although she was beginning to realize that her feelings weren't as one sided as she once believed, it was still uncharted territory. Theia didn't know what went on in Fred's mind when they were together, what he was hoping and wishing for. To him, this could just be for the summer, a simple passing of time until he was to find someone he wanted completely.
