Two days had passed since the staircase incident. Meaning it had been two days since she had spoken to Ron. Theia had avoided him every chance she got, refusing to even look at him whenever he would enter a room. But that hadn't stopped him from trying to get her attention whenever he was near her.
Her notebook had been returned to her trunk sometime after she had passed out on that day and it had remained locked in there ever since. Most of her time during the day was spent with Ginny and Hermione, both of them having sided with her afterwards. Occasionally she would spend some time with Molly in the kitchen, who was always fussing over her and seeing her healing progress.
Her ankle had gone back to normal, although depending on the angle she bent it at, a small sharp pain would shoot through it. The bruises that had peppered her cheeks had lasted into the next morning but were gone by the afternoon and her nose although a little sensitive to touch was back to normal. The only thing that remained as a reminder of that day was a small scar under Theia's right eye. It was faint, a whiteish looking mark that could only be seen if you were close to her.
Harry had now taken it upon himself to joke that he was no longer the only 'scar-face' in the house.
Which only lead to Theia ignoring him along with Ron.
On the morning of the third day, after breakfast and after Fred and George had left, Theia had taken a seat on the living room floor to go through some letters she had received.
Ron was trying to get back into her graces, meaning that he was letting her use Pigwidgeon to deliver and receive letters. Pig bounced gently on her shoulder, nipping at her ear softly as she ripped open the first letter. The tiny owl wouldn't stop moving, jumping up and down on her shoulder and letting out a soft screech every now and then.
"Okay Pig, yes I will get you a treat, give me a second." Theia got to her feet slowly, not to startle Pig from her shoulder and made her way to the kitchen.
Her eyes skimmed the letter from her parents, her mother gushing to her about Orion's new apartment and how it was a few minutes walk from the bustling main streets of Paris, the cutest little cafes and the best coffee she had ever had. Theia couldn't stop herself from rolling her eyes as a small golden coin fell out from the envelope and into her hand.
She flipped it over between her fingers, one side having a shooting star stamped into the metal whereas the other had the image of a sun and moon side by side. It was a beautiful piece that brought a small smile to her face. The sun, the moon and the stars. Each a part of the sky, each equally represented in her life.
Orion had always been the dusk to her dawn, her parents often referring to them as the Sun and Moon. But as he had begun to excel at Hogwarts, he truly embraced his namesake and became the star everyone know knew him to be. Which had left her to find a new calmness to her eccentrics.
We hope you are enjoying your summer with the Weasley's. All three of us miss you dearly Antheia and we hope you reconsider coming home first before returning to Hogwarts for the term. You are still our daughter and we love you more than life.
