Chapter 21: A Duel Ill-Advised

(A/N: Happy New Year everyone! And here's the new chapter, I hope you guys enjoy it)

3rd Person's POV:
Andie, Grim, Ace and Deuce went back to the Ramshackle dorm after saying their goodnights to Trey. Since Andie is worried about her friends, not without taking a quick trip to Mr. S's shop to buy some food so they can have dinner and breakfast. They decided to spent the next hour strategising a clever plan of attack against Riddle as they eat their dinner. Considering how none of them has ever seen him use magic, other than his Unique Magic, so there was a lot of bases to cover. After going through the plan one more time, it was time to get some sleep. Fortunately for the boys, Andie used her magic to cleaned out two rooms, so now they could be more comfortable. It makes Andie really glad she was born as a fast learner. Ace, Deuce, Grim and Andie fell asleep, but Andie groaned as she furrowed her eyebrows a little, shifting her head from her right side to her left side as a bright light appeared and soon died out as we enter Andie's dream.

Dream:
Andie woke up in her adventure outfit and braided hair as she found herself to be in some kind of courtroom. "Where am I now?" She asked herself, she realized she was in the courtroom from the movie, there stood, was giant Alice. "This is the courtroom scene from the movie." Andie said, watching as Alice glared at the Queen of Hearts, "Your Majesty indeed. Why you're not a queen!" she said. However, her body shrunk again, because of the effect of the other mushroom she must have eaten earlier.

"You're just fat," she shrunk, "Pompous," shrunk again, "Bad-tempered," and she went back into her original size, "Old Ty-...rant?" she said weakly, realizing she's back to her normal size again. "Goddamit Alice. You should have made a run for it." Andie facepalmed, knowing what's gonna happen next. The Queen of Hearts chuckled, seeing she was in advantage once again, "And, what did you say, my dear?" She asked. The Cheshire cat appeared on top of the Queen's crown, he grinned, uncarely, "Well she simply said, you're a fat, pompous, bad-tempered old tyrant!" he stated, and laughing himself into thin air. "Uh-oh." Andie mumbled with wide eyes. When the words processed, the Queen of Hearts' face turned red as she screamed, "OFF WITH HER HEAD-!!!"

At her command, hundreds upon thousands of card soldiers rained down on the two girls, aiming to surround Alice. They were all cheering and shouting, ready to take her to be beheaded, "It's the Queen's orders! Off with her head~!" The King of Hearts ordered, and got stepped by the soldiers in the process. Andie was cut off by the girl as the card soldiers cluttered the entire courtroom. Andie moved, jumped, trying to catch a glimpse of Alice. She found her running out of the room with the soldiers and the Queen quickly given chase. The Queen had a mad grin, one filled with insanity. "I get this is the Queen of Hearts. But I wish somebody stopped her. If somebody stopped her, then this wouldn't happened." Andie said before everything went black. 

Dream ended:

Andie slowly opens her eyes, she blinks and slowly sat up to see that she's back in her room again. Andie looked at Grimm who's sleeping on the bed, "I'm usually not a morning person and I don't want to get up, but today is the match so I have to get up and get ready." Andie mumbled, she got up, stretched, and went to take a shower, brushed her teeth and changed into her normal clothes. As she walked in as she brushed her hair, she put her hairbrush down and took out the album, she managed to buy the album from Mr. S's shop, she took out the two photos she took and place them in one of the clear pages.

Once she's done, she put her album on her bed as Grim got up, since he woke up while she was showering. "Oh! You're already up." "Yeah, which is weird because I'm not a morning person." Andie said as Grim climb on her shoulder. The two made their way downstairs and Andie made cereal as Ace and Deuce walked downstairs in their dorm uniforms. After they quickly ate their breakfast, Ace said, "Today is the day! Let's get going." The first years leave the Ramshackle dorm, but as they made their way towards Heartslabyul...

*Drip Drip Drip*

Andie froze when she saw three droplets of ink falling and landed just in front of her. They slithered through and merged with the now large ink puddle. Andie blinked in surprise and shook her head when her vision cleared up and placed her hand on her head. Ace, Deuce and Grim looking at her in concern. "Hey, you alright? You were kinda in a daze." Ace said. "Uh. Yeah, I'm fine.... just.. had a bad feeling about today." The boys looked at her for a moment before nodding. Continuing their way to the Heartslabyul Dorm.

Andrea's POV:
As Ace, Deuce, Grim and I entered Heartslabyul and head straight to the Rose Maze, we saw all members of Heartslabyul gathering in the Rose Maze, and with them are Riddle and Crowley. I can overhear some of the students gossiping quiet to their fellow dormmates and friends, "Oi, did you hear? There's some guys challenging Dorm Leader Rosehearts to a decisive match." "To "that" dorm leader? I'll believe it when I see it. They'll loee their heads in five seconds." "This is the first challenge since Riddle became dorm leader. Let's go watch how it goes!"

Ace and Deuce looked a bit nervous, but I placed my hands on their shoulders, "Don't worry guys, everything is gonna be ok. You can do this. Just remember the plan." Ace and Deuce smiled at my encouragement and walked over the playing field and stood on one side as Riddle stood, arms crossed, on the other. Grim and I made our way towards Trey and Cater, who are among the crowd. "Ace-chan and Deuce-chan are fighting for the seat if dorm leader and challenging Riddle to a decisive match!? Are you for real!?" Cater yelled in shock, "Yeah, pretty much." I said as Cater and Trey to towards me.

"I tried to stop them..." Trey shook his head and sighed, "Well, knowing those two dumbbells, they never listened. Trust me, I've been there." I said, "They sure are reckless~" Cater sighed, "I hope it doesn't end up causing more trouble..." he murmured. "Yeah..." Trey agreed. "I just hope the plan works." I thought, really worried about my friends. Crowley broke through the crowd and stood in the centre. In a loud and clear voice, he said, "Shortly, the decisive match for the title of Heartslabyul Dorm Leader will begin. The challenge are Ace Trappola and Deuce Spade. Defending his title is the current dorm leader, Riddle Rosehearts."

Crowley turned to Riddle, "In accordance with the rules of this decisive match, please remove the magic sealing collar handicap." Riddle shrugged his shoulders and waved his hand. In a flash of light, the collars on Ace's and Deuce's necks disappeared completely and they let out a breath. "Huuuuh, that collar is finally off!" Ace sighed in relief, Riddle raised a brow at them and smirked, "Don't worry, you'll have it back soon enough. Savor the taste of freedom while you can." Riddle said with a smirk, "I couldn't believe my ears when I heard you wanted to challenge me. Are you sure you want to go through with this?" He asked them.

"Most definitely." Ace frowned at him, Deuce added, cracking his knuckles, "I wouldn't challenge you as a joke." "Hm." Riddle hummed while crossing his arms and looking at his challengers with one eyebrow raised, "Whatever. Let us begin." "Please God, let them win." I silently prayed to myself, "Riddle, what do you want to do about afternoon tea?" Cater asked from the sidelines. "That's a silly question." he said as he gave him a sideways glance. "The rules state that my teatime always happens at 4pm on the nose." "But it's already past 3:30..." Cater pointed out as he pulled out his phone to check the time.

"Do you think I'll ever be late? This ordeal will be over shortly." Riddle said before looking back at Ace and Deuce, not realizing the winch from Cater. "Well someone is so sure of himself." I muttered, not amused one bit, "As you can see, I am short on time. Dealing with you one at a time is troublesome. Both of you come at me at once." He challenged. "Fight on Dorm Leader! Put them in their place!" The Heartslabyul students cheered for Riddle, Trey just pulled his hat down, somewhat disappointed.

"They sure know how to run their mouth." Deuce growled out as he cracked his knuckles, "Kaah! Now I'm mad!" Grim cried out. "Don't listen to them guys, they're only saying that because short stack is here." I said, making Riddle glare at me for the insult name. "Not for long!" Ace said, "we made sure to put the plan together!" Riddle turned at Crowley, "Headmaster, if you will." He said, Crowley nodded and takes out a small hand mirror from his jacket, "The match begins after the hand mirror I throw hits the ground and shatters." He raised the mirror high in the air above his head as he looked at his students. "Get set..."

With that he threw down the mirror and it shattered into a million pieces before magically vanishing.

*Crash!*

"FIGHT!"
