It's a very special Friday today since I'll be spending my time with Min. I'm actually more excited about the tutor rather than the tutorial.

I occasionally glanced at the clock and began counting down. My teacher was taking really long to dismiss us since she's still talking about the tests next week.

I decided that I could use the time to pack my things, but I made sure that it wouldn't be noticeable since it would look disrespectful.

And once she dismissed us, I went straight to the bathroom to make sure that I look my best. Jeongwoo was following behind me, quietly watching everything that I do.

"Oh Haruto, of all girls here in our school, why do you choose a plain bookstore cashier"
"Hey Jeongwoo- yah, watch your mouth, you're talking about the girl I like"
"And she's what? 21? She's way older than you"

I ignored him, I didn't want to make an argument because of this simple matter.

"Why don't you focus on the girl YOU like"

I said and turned my back on him, knowing that he would still follow me

"What if the girl I like, LIKES YOU?"
"Well, I'm sorry, I'm just that kind of irresistible"

I walked away since I don't wanna be late and because I also wanted to end the conversation. It's really not my fault that every girl in the campus likes me.

I ran down the stairs, pass through the elementary hallway and out of the school gates, I was literally running since I don't want to waste any minute.

I crossed the street and took a deep breath before going inside the bookshop. I opened the heavy glass door and Min was seated on the counter as usual.

She smiled at me which made my chest feel like it's filled with butterflies. It was a Friday so, no ones really borrowing and buying books except me. I went to a shelf to grab a book to study while Min fixes the store for closing.

And since we're doing this after store hours, I don't need to pay, Min and I both agreed on that.

"Are you ready to start?" She said with her soothing voice. I nodded as yes and sighed before pulling a chair.

Sitting together on a table with our knees and elbows touching, while our faces are facing each other feels like next level bliss.

My heart is pounding and my mind is going crazy, I cannot focus on what she's teaching because my mind is screaming that I should make the first move.

But something is telling me that I should enjoy the moment and make it last. Her small pretty face and her hair that was black as the night sky.

I knew I was dying for her answer so I figured that I have to go tell her because I won't get anything if I say nothing so I waited for the right timing to kick in.

"Any questions? Clarifications?"
"Hmm, nothing much. I just have to ask you this"
"Yes what is it?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Soo Min

He just blurted those words out, making me speechless and I wasn't able to speak for a solid minute because I was literally thrown off by his confidence.

Like where is this kid's confidence coming from? I simply laughed it off because I didn't think he was serious about it.

"No thank you (in Asahi's voice), anyways so.."
