It was Thursday, today was the day Greg had to come to mine to do this silly project. I really just wanted to get this over and done with. My mum and sister were out so I had my music full blast so I hardly heard the bell ring when it did. I went and turned my iPod off and answered the door. I opened it just enough so that he could walked in. He gave me a kind of smile which I returned. I then told him to follow me in to the living room which he did willingly. He sat down and we started to discuss the project.

"So do you have any ideas with what you would like to do?" I asked him

"Yeah, I have this guitar piece which we could use, we just need to add a piano and lyrics then yeah, but only if you're ok with that? You don't have to." He replied

We spent the next hour or two on the piece he composed, it was such a good start to the project I was really happy with what he had come up with. There was no doubt that this dude was talented. For the first time ever as well he was nice to me, we even shared a joke or two. I liked this side to Greg, after a while he is a great person. I learnt that he was someone who cared about his family a lot, he had a massive passion for music and that he had auditioned to be apart in a boy band. I never thought I would be saying this but I really wanted him to succeed, I believed he really deserved it. It reached 7 o'clock and that was when my mum walked in the door.

"Becky I'm home... Who is this strapping young man?" She asked curiously.

"Mum. Really? This is Greg; we are doing a Project together for music. Greg this is my mum Sylvia." I replied

"It's a pleasure to meet you Sylvia but I must get going my mum would probably want me home by now." He added

"Oh no dear, you can stay for dinner if you want? You could always give you mum a phone to let her know. It's not every day Becky brings a friend home." She smiled.

What was she doing? In all fairness she didn't know anything about him. She didn't know that he tormented her daughter. I suppose I would just have to put up with it.

Later that evening me and Greg had finished the project and were pretty hungry. Spag Bol. My favourite. My mum was only cooking for 3 people as my sister was staying over at her friends, so it was quiet in the house. We were watching the end of SAW VI when my mum called us telling us both that dinner was served. We all took our places at the table and that's when the interrogation began. This night was going last a long time.

My mum and Greg got along really well, it was actually really scary. I couldn't stand this any longer so I put a stop to the conversation they were having.

"I think it's about time Greg went home now, It is pretty late..." I interjected

The both looked at me and smiled. Creeps. Greg stood up collected his stuff and I went to the door to send him off.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow I guess. I had fun tonight, Thanks Becky." He said.

He stepped closer to me a draped his arm around my shoulder and gave me a light squeeze. It actually felt quite nice. His musky smell and his light breathing gave me a sense of security. He then realised what he was doing then walked of down the path. I closed the door behind me reflecting on that evening. For the few hours he was here he was a genuine person. So different from what I thought he was. Supposed I judged a book by its cover. The rest of the evening consisted of me dumping myself on the sofa watching whatever came on the telly! At about 10 I decided I was bored and went to bed, Ready for yet another tiring day of school.

A/N: Please comment, Tell me if I am bad at this or weather you enjoy it. Cheers m'dears!
