Music Can Change Everything - Chapter 22

A/N: hey dudes! I am very very sorry for not updating but it is exam time for me! and since it is my 2nd last year it is important i pass so most of my time is spent on that! and tumblr... But just to let you know i have ideas for this story and some of you may not like them but i hope you do! Also i have also started using polyvore so i hope you like that too! But now for Chapter 22! About a month and a half later the tour was over and I was super excited to see Greg again. He had told me that he would be home about 10 after going to see his family, I had opened up shop again business had been getting better recently as more and more people came in. Niamh was in a lot of the time so I could share the workload and have someone to talk to. My dad had also come in a lot to check on me and have a chat, It wasn't for long but give him his due he was trying.  

The day was almost over and I left Niamh to close up because I had a Doctor's appointment because I had been having immense stomach pains. I hate doctors and I always have, Hospitals are bad yet good things but so many people die inside those walls, it puts me of them. I have also watched a lot of Casualty and Holby City, The type of accidents that some people get in to are so rare and weird it would probably happen to someone like me. 

I soon enough arrived and it was quite so I was hoping to get seen earlier. I told the receptionist I was here and took a seat in the waiting area. I sat for about 25 minutes of whoch I spent most of my time on my phone playing temple run, waiting to get seen. My name was called and I followed the older women into the small room. She told me to take a seat and asked me the odd uestion like my name, age, home town etc.. I took in my surroundings, the walls were painted yellow with the odd framed picture of plants in a pot. There was an examination table in the corner with a marvel curtain all crumpled up at one end and on the other side a corner full of toys.  

"So Becky, What seems to be the problem?" She smiled. I explained the situation, she didn't really say anything but just nodded which worried me a little ad I thought she would have stopped to ask more questions in between but hopefully she knew what she was doing. She then asked me to lie on the table, she started rubbing my stomach trying to see if she could source the problem, I then felt a massive pain in my side and I yelped out in pain. 

"I am guessing that hurt." She chuckled and I nodded "Well I think I might know what it is but I am going to send you for an x-ray to see if I am right." She smiled. I sat up, pulled down my t-shirt and jumped of the bed and followed her to the x-ray room.  

After an hour of waiting she asked me to come back in to her room. 

"Well, my suspicions have been confirmed! You have a fractured rib." Shit. "If you don't mind me asking Becky what happened to you?" she asked me taking one of my hands in hers. For someone who hardly knew me she seemed to really care. At first I couldn't think what actually caused it, I might have fallen or might have just been the way I had been lying in bed. But soon enough it hit me. Jennifer, She beat the crap out of me, The little bitch broke my rib. What was I going to tell the doctor though? I had to make up a believable story fast. 

"Well, what happened was... I was clearing out the attic when I fell of the ladder and fell on something, I didn't think much of it because it didn't seriously hurt at the time." I smiled. She didn't looked convinced but she didn't push the subject. She bandaged me up and subscribed me some medication. I then waited outside for a taxi to come pick me up. So while I waited I placed in my headphones and just put my tunes on shuffle. Sleeping With Sirens - Do it Now Remember It Later came on so I absent mindedly started singing along, people walked passed me giving me a look so I started making funny faces at them too. That was until the black car with the yellow taxi sign on top came along.
