Chapter 3 Memories

Third-person P.O.V

Mommy, I don't want to Virgil said pulling at her hand as they approached the next house they are new to the neighborhood so their mom took them to the houses around them saying hi and all that jazz this is the last house Virgil it's fine she responded. She knocked on the door and this little boy answered the door with his mother there were a few seconds of silence then their mother spoke.

Hello were your new neighbors we live down the road a bit. My name is Danyella these are my sons she said Virgil and Thomas the boys waved as their names were said. After about an hour the family headed home

Thomas's P.O.V

Virgil and I were sitting on the floor in our room talking when we heard the front door open and slam shut my brother looked at me with sheer panic in his eyes I grabbed my MP3 player and bulky headphones and started playing Country music and put the headphones over my little brother's head and grabbed his hand and pulled him into the closet and held him closely the music tuned it out for him but not me I heard it all from our place in the closet

She just rolled her eyes and went back to cooking

LOOK AT ME BITCH he yelled

(back upstairs)

With that comment from our mother, I pulled Virgil back into the closet where our mother built a hiding place for us (it was a hole in the wall that had a covering only the kids knew about) when dad came home drunk he never hurt us but mom was scared he would I crawled in and pulled Virgil with me then put the door back in place.

(back downstairs Third-person P.O.V)

Oh dont worry I won't

Ugh

I'm sorry baby it won't happen again he said in a calm voice

It's fine she replied calmly as she put the dinner she was cooking on plates then her husband hugged her. She smelled the perfume on him but she didn't say anything.

Boys dinnertime she yelled then waited for them when they didn't come she went up to get them. She walked into the boy's shared room and didn't see them so she went to the hiding place in the closet and opened the door. Thomas saw her and gently shook Virgil awake he had passed out from lack of sleep the prior night. Hey, mommy, Thomas said. Hey, kid, she replied dinners ready okay mommy Thomas said. We'll be down soon. Okay see you guys downstairs she said. She leaves the room and the boys follow soon after and the "family" sits down at the table and eats dinner in silence

~Timeskip 3 hours later bc I'm lazyyyy~

(Virgil's P.O.V)

My brother and I were getting ready for bed. Our dad came in hugged us and kissed our heads then left. Mom came in soon after and did the same thing. Both my older brother and I just ignored it getting in bed and falling asleep fairly quickly.

~Flashback over~ (still Virgils P.O.V)

I jolted up at that dream and I looked around at my surroundings seeing white floors light blue walls light blue bedding. I WAS IN A HOSPITAL.

I had started panicking where is my brother and My Patton. a nurse ran into my room and was trying to calm me down. I kept muttering wheres Patton Wheres Thomas under my breath.

Sir calm down they are fine your brother is in surgery and Patton is in the room over. do you remember what happened? she questioned. I thought for a moment then I remembered. W-we g-got h-hit I stuttered. yes, you did she replied would you like to see Patton now? she asked YES! I said a little too excited.

(Third-person P.O.V)

Virgil got checked out he was fine just a minor concussion him and Patton went to the recovery room they got to share it because it was big enough to fit two beds they spent two hours talking then Patton and Virgil's moms came in and visited a nurse came in and told Danella and Virgil Thomas was fine and out of surgery and he will be fine. I was relieved at this I took a deep breath and smiled thinking 'were going to be fine'

ANNND here's chapter 3 YAY 827 words not bad right not as good as my one thousand and some but hey it's done and I'm happy it took so long to write but I did it and I'm happy with it
