Chapter 2 - "Long Lost Best Friends"

Hailey POV

It was the next day after that whole thing...

You know it has been weird that I have never seen her at this school considering she could have not just enrolled... Has she tried to be avoiding me on purpose?

Hailey then holds a pen in her hand. She had the sneaky idea of saying that Daisy "lost" her pen (it wasn't her pen) to Jake, who of course said where she was usually was after school (so that she could give back the pen supposedly).

The student council.

After school she waits outside the student council place thingy.

Then when the meetings over all of the council members flow out of the room. They dismiss her appearance except Daisy of course.

Coincidently she was the last to come out of the room; and when she saw her... she completely ignored her... or at least tried too.

Before Hailey could say anything Daisy was walking so fast that she was already quite a ways down the hall. Without trying to run to catch any attention, she starts speed-walking towards her. Daisy noticed but didn't turn her head she just kept on walking (just a lil faster).

In the end, it still looked weird. It looked like Hailey was some kind of stalker and Daisy was trying to get away. Some random people were having a conversation like-:

"Lmao- what is that music freak doing."
"Dunno, probably has a crush on her .,."
"Don't they both like Jake???"
"Dunno bro, dunno."

Hailey POV

I hear some people in the hallway talking about me.
"I am so going to kill you Daisy-"

Daisy POV

... yeah ok, maybe it isn't that smart for me to be walking away from her but- It would just be so awkward!...

Third POV

Daisy gets to her car where her moms waiting for her at the pick up zone.

Daisy got in the car and then just hides.

With her mom being confused she looks ahead and sees Hailey walking towards the car.

"Hailey?" says Daisy's mom.
She rolls the window down.
"Hailey! Is that you?"

She got Hailey's attention, and then Hailey said in the most sarcastic voice ever.

"Oh hi there! Wait- are you Daisy's mom? WOW I DIDN'T KNOW DAISY WENT TO THIS SCHOOL."

Daisy's mom turns to the back to the back seat where Daisy was hiding.

"You hear that honey! That's your lOnG lOsT bEsT fRiEnD"

Daisy just looked up a little up and saw Hailey waving her arms at them.

Then Hailey said (still in a sarcastic tone) "MAN, it's such a shame that my mom forgot to pick me up... Wait! What if you guys could let me stay with you guys for a while and I call my mom in the meantime?"

"OMG YES, best friend bonding time!"

Daisy just looked at her mom with both horror and betrayal.
