This is something I would never have done before. Harry looked very uncomfortable with me around and kept making ignorant faces. As if I were some murderer who killed his family. Honestly, what's his problem? Can't he just get over it? Can't he see that I like him? Why is it that he stopped liking me just after I started to? Life surprises you like that.

Harry stood up heading upstairs to leave me all alone. Probably cause he couldn't take it anymore. Before he takes a step, I lightly grab his wrist. "Harry, wait."

He yanks his hand back. "Don't touch me." What happened to all the dirty jokes he was making before? Now he can't even handle me touching him.

"Look, I'm really, truly sorry." A hint of compassion was deep within my eyes.

"Yeah right." He sarcastically chuckles. "All you are feeling is sorry for me. You're the first girl to ever make me feel like this. And I can't describe it cause it's the first time. Just leave Emma, leave me alone. I've already told you before." Yeah you did Harry. You did. But when I told you to leave me alone, you didn't. It's only fair. And I made a promise to myself that I won't go home without you.

Harry's POV

All I was doing was being rude to her. But that's what she was like to me. It's only fair. And I made a promise to myself that I will make her feel my pain. Rejection, love, hatred, jealousy. It's just all too much. I don't do feelings.

Emma's POV

This whole apologizing by just talking thing will not work. I need to do something that showed more love and appreciation. And just how sorry I am. And how much I want him back in my life.

"Good afternoon coach." Eleanor and I approach the girls volleyball coach. He was quite tall and muscular. But not very tanned.

"Hello, girls. Eleanor, I'm surprised you even showed up to tryouts. You already know you're the captain." He chuckled as she smiles back at him.

"Well it's only fair." she looks up to his tall figure.

"And you must be Emma." He looks over at me with a small smirk played in his lips.

"Yes sir, Emma Davis." I respond.

"Yes, I've heard a lot about you!" A worried expression took over my face. "Don't worry. It's all good things." We both chuckled.

"Well I think it will be a great opportunity to represent this high school and meet new people on the team and all."

"That's the kind of attitude I'm looking for Davis." He winked at me.

"Wooh! Let's go Eagles!" I heard a familiar voice cheering us on.
