There's a coffee house right around the corner from my apartment. When I first moved in I didn't know what was so intriguing about it. Maybe it was the smell when I walked in, the warmth of the heater running on a cold December day, the taste of the hot sweet cinnamon rolls, or the combination of all three. But the coffee, oh my god, the coffee is so good. It's still as good as the first time I tried it. Whenever I'm done with school, I walk over there and do my homework at the little corner table and get the exact same thing every time. A cinnamon roll and a hot coffee with two creamers and three sugars. It never fails. Rebecca, the front cashier girl and my friend, knows who I am because I go in there all the time. She gets me discounts and also tries to play matchmaker with the cutest guys in there. She still attempts to set me up with a random guy despite of my countless protests. You have no idea how many awkward first meetings I've had with guys that I have nothing in common with. And yet she stands there looking back and forth at us trying to see who's going to make the first move to our "happily ever after." But that one time she didn't play matchmaker, I had found Dean.
