It all started on a dark and stormy friday night. The boys were at another hotel in another city. Louis had wanted to go out clubbing, but Paul had forbidden it because of the weather.
"I'm so bored!" Louis complained as he plopped onto his bed.
"Why don't we meet up with the other boys and do something fun?" Harry suggested from his own bed.
"Fine."
Louis rolled off his bed and followed Harry out into the hall. They stopped outside Liam and Zayn's door and knocked. The door swung open to reveal Niall munching away on chips.
"We were just about to come find you," he said. "We're bored and the weather's screwing with the signal."
"Let's play a game or something," Liam said once the boys were situated around the room.
"How about truth or dare?" Harry suggested.
Louis grunted, remembering the last night they played.
"I'm down for it," Zayn said.
"Me too," said Niall.
Harry looked to Louis. "Will you play, Lou?"
He looked back and forth between Harry and the others. Liam was the only other one to not answer yet. Louis was pretty confident that Liam would say no, considering what happened last time.
"I'll play if Liam does," he said.
Harry looked to Liam. "You up for it?"
Liam hesitated. He definitely didn't want a repeat of last time, but he could tell that Harry really wanted this.
He sighed. "Fine."
Louis's slightly smug expression fell. Damn it, he thought. He was about to start whining when he saw the look on Harry's face. He couldn't let his best friend down. "Oh, alright. I'll play."
Harry beamed with happiness. "Yay!"
The boys sat in a circle on the floor between the two beds. Niall placed his empty soda bottle in the middle of the circle.
"Why don't you go first, Haz?" Liam suggested. "Since it was your idea and all."
Harry excitedly spun the bottle. It landed on Zayn. "Truth or dare, Z?"
"Truth," Zayn said, opting to go for the safer option.
"What would you do if you were the opposite sex for a day?"
Zayn shrugged. "Go get mani-pedis or something with Perrie."
He spun the bottle. It landed on Liam. "Truth or dare?"
Liam thought for a moment. "Truth, I guess."
"What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done in front of another person?"
Liam blushed. "I spilt my trousers on stage that one day."
Louis laughed as he remembered that.
Liam spun the bottle. It landed on Niall. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare. I'm not a wimp."
"Eat a banana without using your hands."
Niall managed to do it using his feet and elbows. He spun the bottle and it landed on Harry. "Truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"Do your best impression of a baby being born."
I'll let your imagination do the work, but it was ridiculous and everyone was laughing the whole way.
