Louis walked down the hallway and into his dressing room. Liam was sitting on the couch as Louis walked in.
The band had been super busy the last three months. So busy that Louis and Liam hadn't been able to spend time alone together.
Louis walked over and sat down with Liam. He noticed that Liam look really sad. They sat in silence for a few seconds.
"Are you okay?" Louis asked Liam.
He felt Liam shrug.
Louis put his hand on Liam's leg. The latter began to cry. Louis wrapped his arms around his boyfriend of two years.
He whispered, "What's wrong, baby?"
"I saw you and Harry kissing last night, in the alley."
Louis's eyes widen. He had no idea that Liam had seen that. "Oh, baby. Harry kissed me. I pushed him away," Louis said truthfully. "Harry'd had a bit to drink. I pushed him off me and left."
"Why didn't you just tell me?" Liam asked, looking so sad.
Louis looked down at his lap, feeling guilty. "I don't know, Liam. I guess I just wanted to forget about it. Harry came and found me later and apologized. I just didn't want you getting mad at him for a drunken mistake. Is that why you spent the night in Niall's room?"
Liam nodded. "I didn't know to think. I mean, I guess I still get a bit jealous when I see you with Harry."
Louis had been dating Harry for a while before they grew apart. Louis then realized he had feelings for Liam and asked him out. Harry was fine with their relationship, and he and Louis decided to leave the past behind and be friends.
Louis looks into Liam'sbeautiful brown eyes. "You know I love only you, Liam. I was never in love with Harry, only with you. You're my everything, Lili. And I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner about what happened last night."
"It's okay, Lou. I forgive you. I'm sorry, too."
"What are you sorry for, baby?"
"For getting jealous and thinking the worst."
Louis smiled slightly. "It's okay. I don't blame you. In fact, it proves to me just how much you love me."
"I really do love you, Lou."
Louis kissed Liam. "I know."
