I sat down at my desk and waited for instructions on what to do. Today we were testing Dr. Zhangs theory on if the sea floor is really the sea floor. We then got visual on Lori and her team. "we have visual on you" Mac said and as he did Morris entered. i didn't like him and by the looks of it Jaxx didn't too. Jaxx is my girlfriend i have dated her for two years now. we met at Uni and she was the one who got me a job here. "this is Y/N," Suyin said as she was introducing Morris to everyone "we don't know what she does but she has helped us greatly." he looked at me confused "what do you mean you don't know what she does?" i laughed " i help out everywhere, the marine biology section, engineering, medical, you name it." he nodded and walked off. I saw my brother on screen, he was helping Lori in the sub, they were laughing and joking around until something hit them. I looked at Jaxx for reassurance but i can see she was worried too. they got hit again and they where all screaming, tear filled up in my eyes as i heard my brother shouting "there is something down her with us!" then teh screen froze. I tried to hold in crying but i couldn't help it. I ran off. i heard Jaxx shout "Y/N!" but i didn't listen. I ran down the corridors and into my room.
After two minuets Jaxx came in. She hugged me tight and told me everything is gonna be ok. "but what if it's not?!" i shouted crying "my brother is down there with this thing and i can't do anything about it!" she pulled me closer to her chest and tried to calm me down. we then got a phone call "hello?" jaxx said " ok we will be there in ten minuets. bye." she looked at me and smiled "we have a meeting to discuss what to do about the situation." i nodded and sighed. she got back in the bed and kissed my forehead and then leant back so i could place my head on her chest while she tried to comfort me. Soon we got up and left for the meeting.
