NONE OF THE TWO dared to talk about what happened the night of the confession, but they did become a little distant from each other, leaving an awkward tension between them.
"So, we haven't had any fashion designers and tailors to do our outfits for this and they're hosting an award under that category?" Y/N asked.
Millie hummed in response, "Well, they did send the invitation a month ago, but I thought it was just a sick prank so I left it on my desk with piles of files. At least we've got time to shop!" she exclaimed.
Louis was silent, staring at his phone and biting his lip, frowning. "Renza hasn't arrived yet. Her flight is at 4 PM."
"Really? June's flight is at 4 PM as well," Y/N said. They both looked at each other and looked away, clearing their throats.
"That gives us time to shop for a good outfit!"
"But, do we have enough money?"
"Of course we do!"

"Okay, so, I'm thinking about pink! We could do matching pinks as a trio! Red is overrated every Valentines," Millie said and dragged her best friends in the store full of elegant formal wear.
After almost an hour, Millie decided to wear the light pink dress she saw and walked out of the dressing room. Y/N was next to emerge from the other. Then, Louis.
"Y/N, you're wearing jeans to the carpet?" Millie asked.
"Yeah — wait, are jeans allowed?" Her best friend shook her head.
"Okay, that's cool too. Oh! Good thing a dress caught my eye earlier. Give me one second!" She went back to the dressing room as Louis and Millie both looked at each other and nodded in approval.
