"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, please welcome Y/N L/N and Louis Partridge!" The host, Clint announced. As soon as the young teens sat on their assigned seats with the biggest smiles on their flushed crimson faces, everyone cheered and clapped their hands to welcome their presence that lit the audience.
"Hey, everyone!" They both greeted, giggling at the microphone hidden behind underneath their clothes.
"How are you, two?"
"Oh, we're good! How are you?" Y/N questioned.
"I'm doing well, thank you. Tell me, how does it feel to be labelled as the most memorable social media teen couple?" Clint asked. The girl looked at Louis who laughed nervously.
"Okay, you're playing. There's no such thing," she answered.
"I doubt they have a thing for that, and even if there is, I wouldn't say we're that memorable at all," Louis slumped on the chair.
"You caught me," they all laughed. "Witty. That's probably how you survived all that torment!"
"I mean, it was 2020 — "
"And 2021, darling. Don't forget," Louis interjected.
"Who knows? 2022 might be worse," Clint joked.
"Now, now, Clint. Don't jinx it like that," Y/N remarked in a taunting tone.
A few minutes of answering questions, it got to this. "So, Y/N, Louis, tell us. How did you two meet?"
"Ooh! This is a good question. Maybe we should split perspectives because I honestly don't know how Y/N got to the spot where we met," Louis said.
"Yeah. I was 15 with my parents. I asked them to take me to London and then literally, all I did was take polaroid pictures. Then, when I ended up somewhere near Big Ben, the clock tower, I sat down on a bench to rest then I saw Louis. He was skating!" she explained. "But, at that time, he wasn't looking where he was going and then he smashed his face into a tree, breaking his skateboard. I remember! He had a wound, and I had to help. At first I was hesitant because I thought he's some kind of kidnapper trying to lure me. Seriously, who skates late at midnight?" she continued.
Louis audibly chuckled, "Apparently me."
"So, we talked there, and I didn't give him my social media. Just my first name because he only gave his first as well. I didn't want to get attached to London for some reason, you see, and that's how we met!" Y/N said.
Clint nodded, "What about you, Louis?"
"Oh, yeah. The way we met for the second time's kind of the start of a movie, actually. There's this polaroid of her that I carry around and I remember trying to look her up on any social media, but I was dumb because I only have her first name. She had been hiding under a false name, a stage name rather. You can see the polaroids on our twitter. We posted them there and then we reunited when I was . . . " he looked at the girl, holding back a loud snort.
She grinned, "Remember?"
Clint frowned, "Remember what?"
"We reunited when he was getting chased by a dog and then it ended up chasing me as well. It wasn't only one, but two!" L/N exclaimed.
"Yeah, and we went to some grocery store and we shamelessly locked the entrance with some boxes. Goodness, recalling it now makes me feel so embarrassed."
"We grabbed something for defence and you know what Louis chose as a weapon?" the girl asked. Clint laughed, intrigued. "What?"
"A freaking baguette." She simply stated. The crowd cracked up.
"Stop exposing me like that," Louis said.
"It's hilarious!"
"Okay, but you haven't heard it all. She, Y/N just sitting over there, that exact girl — her weapon of choice was an insect spray," he said.
The crowd laughed even more.
"We know, we know. We have the CCTV footage," Clint said.
Their eyes widened, "Oh, my God, really?!"
"Yeah!"
And there, their story continued.
There were fights, but they would make up. There were certain times that they would give up, but then the other keeps them going. If you're asking, yes, they did meet each other's families and they accepted each one with open arms.
They had their ups and downs, but they knew they could do it together.
They have each other and that's all that matters.
From a pair of polaroid pictures to something profusely strong and incredibly sweet. Off you go, dear reader, reach for your dreams, and find the love that'll make the angels weep.
