CATCHING EACH OTHER STARING from time to time, Y/N and Louis never talked. Instead, they watched as their new friends had fun meeting each other. Chosen and Caleb were getting along very well. Same goes for Gaten, Noah, and Jeremy. Sophia, Sadie, and Millie were busy talking about doing a collaboration on something. Jack, Finn, Jaeden, William, and Wyatt were messing around, taking stolen pictures of each other. June and Renza were talking- with a little hint of flavour that made Y/N and Louis uncomfortable.

Keese noticed this and decided to speak, "So, Y/N. I heard your parents will come to the premiere of you know what."

The girl scrunched her nose and looked at her with confusion. "What?"

"Didn't you hear?"

"Hear what?"

"Your parents posted something on their Instagram. Aren't you friends with them on that platform?" Renza asked.

Y/N nervously let out a breath, "I didn't know. I wasn't informed. I-"

"You don't even check up on them?" she asked.

"I do. I message them everyday. They rarely respond, and I thought maybe they're mad at me or something. When was the update posted?"

"About an hour ago."

"I'll call them later. Thank you for informing me."

Almost an hour later, after finishing their supper, the hosts started to fumble about stuff that Y/N wasn't even paying attention to. She turned her head to June and watched as he and Renza continued to laugh. What happened next made her slump back on her seat and sigh. June gave his blazer to Renza who was cold.

Louis was watching them as well. He couldn't help but feel something was off. He was about to speak about it when the hosts shouted, "And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for! It's time to announce the winners of the Valentine Carpet Awards!"
