SEMI'S POV

shirabu's a good underclassmen, under the salty outside. he respects you half of the time but can be a real pain in the butt when he wants to be my god.
I don't think he has any friends outside of volleyball, so I always try to include him. It makes my friends think I have a crush on him and always leave to give us 'space'. it's stupid honestly.
"shirabu! where do you want to go?" I ask, hoping he would make his decision quick so we can go before it gets too crowded. "oh, uhhh...I guess we can go shopping a bit..."
we walk around the place at least 18 times while talking about each other's interests. the last time we did this was a year ago when we had first met. we walked and talked for hours until we hooked up in my car. nah I'm just joking I took him home safely and no sex was involved.
"why do you act mean to me?" I ask, wanting to know the answer. he just stared at me and slowed his walking pace. "that's none of your concern." I frowned. "I'm one of your only friends, you can tell me." he chuckled. "that's one way to call me lonely."
SHIRABU'S POV

"mama, where's papa?" a tiny voice quietly whispered. "don't worry baby, as long as he doesn't find us, we'll be safe..."
shopping with semi was fun, it was more enjoyable than I expected. he dropped me home and left, probably to his own house.
I open the door quietly, making sure that my mother doesn't hear me as I never told her I was leaving.
"oh my god kenjirō! where have you been?" there she was. in her nightgown with a phone in her hand. "I was about to call the police..." she sighed, exiting her seat and walking towards me. "don't leave without my permission again, you hear me?" I gulped. "yes ma'am."
she chuckles. "I love you kenjirō..." "I love you too mama."
