christmas special

(keep in mind that this story doesn't relate to the story at all, so you can skip it if you want)

ahh, christmas...the best time of year for hanging out with your family and lots of peace...

"SHITTYKAWA STOP PUTTING PICTURES OF YOUR FACE ON THE DOOR!"

no peace this year i guess...

"BUT I'M NOT! IT'S MATTSUN AND MAKKI!"

"LIKE I'D BELIEVE YOU"

"Iwaizumi-san, please calm down."

"sorry akaashi, do you need anything?"

"may i please have tweezers? bokuto-san got a splinter."

iwaizumi passes the tweezers to akaashi with a smile, then turns back to oikawa with a frown.

"HOW COME YOU ARE SO KIND TO HIM BUT NOT ME?"

"HE'S POLITE, YOU'RE NOT. END OF DISCUSSION."

they ended up not talking the rest of the three days before christmas, which was worrying iwaizumi a bit.

on christmas day there was lots of cheer!
the christmas spirit was high.
but two best friends who seem to bend are thinking of each other the whole time...

when it was time to open presents everyone handed out gifts, and iwaizumi was debating on whether to give his gift to oikawa or not. so he decided to man up and give it to him.

"oi shittykawa."

oikawa looked up.

"here's your gift..."

he opened it, the inside containing an alien plush.

"how did you know i wanted this?"

"well...i totally didn't see your wish list."

"well thanks iwa-chan, this truly is the best christmas..."

and they sat together talking while the others were busy unwrapping presents.
