Nasa apartment lang ako ngayon wala akong ginawang project kaya nag Netflix nalang ako nakailang movie narin ako. Naisipan ko namang e message pinsan ko kaya nagmessage ako kaso may nakita akong isang message request kaya inopen ko.

"Hi, I am Finn's girlfriend. Apparently, we just had a cooling-off period because he got mad at me. That's normal because I know he'll come back to me. I just gave him space and time. I heard some rumors that there's something between you and Finn? Let's talk woman to woman. If you don't want any trouble, let's meet here."

Diko alam kong ano mararamdaman ko ngayon diko din gusto na masira pangalan ko, alam kong matagal na sila pero sabi ni finn sakin nag break nadaw sila?

At napag desisyonan ko na puntahan sya sa lé café para narin walang gulong mangyari.

Nakarating na ako sa café, pagpasok ko hinanap ko agad s'ya sabi naman nya madali s'yang hanapin kasi naka full white daw s'ya at nakita ko agad s'ya

Tangina anong laban ko dito? mayaman at may kaya na e ako nag-aaral pa tamad pa minsan anong ipagmamayabang ko kay finn? Lumapit naman ako sa kanya

" Tanya?" tumango naman s'ya

"I need to talk to you, Neriah. About Finn."

Umupo naman ako sa harap n'ya

"What is this about Finn?"

" Stay away from him, Neriah." nakataas naman kilay ko sa kanya

"What? Why would I do that?"

"Because Finn and I will get back together. Don't you know we've known each other for a long time and been through a lot?" she seriously said

" I know that, Tanya. But you and Finn have been over for a long time. He loves me deeply now." kahit hindi ko alam na fefeel ko naman mga gestures n'ya e!

" I know you love him. But have you ever thought that we might be a better match? I know him better than you do."

" Tanya, I won't be swayed by what you're saying. What matters is how we feel for each other now."

" Do you know that Finn's mom pleaded with me? She wants a grandchild. She wants me to be the mother of his child." nagulat naman ako sa sinabi n'ya napag-usapan din kasi namin ni finn tungkol dito kaso natatakot ako and he respect that

" W-what?"

" Because she knows I'm the right woman for Finn. I'm willing to have a child for them."

"Tanya, I won't change Finn's feelings. He loves me, and he chose me." kahit hindi ako sigurado kinapalan ko nalang mukha ko

" That's why I'm asking you, Neriah. If you truly love Finn, let him come back to me and fulfill his family's dream." pero wala ng ma's kakapal sa kanya!

" I can't do that. "

"Are you together?"

"No."

She smiled teasingly, then stood up and approached me.

"So, you're just a rebound for him, a pass time. If I were you, I would distance myself from him," and then she left.

Natulala naman ako hindi ko alam kong anong gagawin ko kasi, totoo naman sinabi n'ya baka anytime babalik si finn sa kanya. Mayaman, Maganda, Maputi, at Mahal ng lahat.

Natawa naman ako sa sarili ko sguro iiwasan ko mona s'ya baka nga rebound lang talaga ako sa tagal nila tapos andali n'ya lang nag move on! ang tigas pala ng buto n'ya. Tumunog naman cellphone ko akala ko pinsan ko pero unknown number naka lagay, I take a deep breath before answering.

" Hello"

"Neriah, anak. Kumusta ka?" her voice trembling kumunot naman noo ko

"A-aunte?" Kilala ko kasi boses n'ya "okay lang po ba kayo?"

" Anak, si Logan... Hindi na kinaya ng katawan niya"

I tried to speak but i choked by emotion.

"Hindi po totoo..."

" Totoo, anak. Ang sakit, ang sakit sobra. Pero gusto kong malaman mo na may iniwan siyang huling mensahe para sa iyo." umiiyak na sabi ni aunte gia

"Ano po 'yun, Auntie" mahina kong sabi

" Pwede ba kitang makita? Gusto kong personal na ibigay sa iyo ang mensahe ni Logan."

" Opo, pupunta po ako riyan." at mabilis na umalis sa café

I arrive at Logan's house. I'm hesitate for a moment at the doorstep, then rings the doorbell. Auntie gia opens the door, her face puffy from crying but managing a weak smile.

Diko napigilan, niyakap ko s'ya ng mahigpit

"Salamat sa pagpunta, Neriah."

" Wala po iyon."

"Halika, sa kwarto niya."

We walk together towards Logan's room. Auntie gia opens the door, revealing a room filled with memories of Logan—photos, awards, and a guitar in the corner. On the bed lies a letter.

"Bago sya pumanaw, sinabi n'ya sakin na tumigil na s'ya sa pangliligaw kasi daw ni reject" Tumawa naman s'ya, at ako naman tong nahiya "Iniwan niya ito para sa iyo." Hindi ako galit sayo neriah anak, Nakita ko kasi ang saya ni logan lagi kaya nagpapasalamat ako sa'yo

Hinawakan ko letter with trembling hands, sitting on the edge of the bed. I opened it and begins to read

Dear Neriah,

"If you are reading this, it means I am no longer here. I know how difficult this is for you, and I'm sorry for leaving you alone. But I want you to know that I will never forget you until my last breath.

Neriah, you were my light in the darkest days. Every smile, every laugh we shared, they gave me strength to keep fighting. No matter how tough my days were, you made me stronger.

But my body reached its limit, and it finally gave up. I didn't want to say goodbye like this, but I need you to stay strong. I want you to live your life to the fullest, to find happiness even without me.

Neriah, promise me one thing: chase your dreams. I know how talented and passionate you are. You have a gift, and the world deserves to see it. Remember our conversations about our dreams? I believe in you, and I know you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Even though I can't be with you on all your adventures, I will always be with you in spirit. When you see a star in the sky, think of it as me watching over you.

I clutches the letter to my chest, tears streaming down my face. Auntie gia sits beside me, holding my hand, Sabay tuloy kaming umiyak

Habang naglalakad  hindi ko maiwasang maiyak, damn ang daming revelation ngayon araw na 'to.

Tumigil mona ako sa  park, a small smile on my face. I sit on a bench, pulling out Logan's letter on my  bag. I read it once more, then looks up at the sky.

Sana pala inintidi ko lahat ng mga ginawa ko noon, sana pala naging ma's pasensya ko sayo noon.

"Thank you, Logan. For everything."

I closed my eyes, feeling a sense of peace.
