Breezy Rainbows

7. Dash is Doomed.

Rainbow Dash zoomed through the castle doors, and burst into the throne room. She flew straight to her seat and opened her book. She said nothing to the other ponies that were staring at her, confused. Rainbow Dash focused on reading her book. She did not want to explain what had just happened. "Since no one else will ask, I'll do it. What the hay was that all about?" Asked Twilight.

"I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about Twilight." Rainbow replied. Twilight used her magic to close Rainbow's book, forcing her to look up at her. Twilight raised an eyebrow. "I'm not saying anything. Absolutely nothing happened! Now leave me be!" Rainbow said grabbing her book from Twilight's magenta magic glow, and opening it again.

All of a sudden there was a knock at the throne room door. "I'll get it!" Spike called. He flew over to the door and cracked it open. "Hi Sunset! Can I help you?" Spike said quiet enough that the other ponies couldn't hear him. "Actually, you can. Can you tell Rainbow Dash that 2 ponies are here to see her?" She asked him. Spike nodded and told them to wait there.
"Rainbow, there are 2 ponies here to see you." He called. "Go figure. Probably Wonderbolt stuff. Who is it?" She asked. Spike opened the door and let the 2 ponies walk in slightly. Rainbow's pupils shrunk. "Nope, nuh uh. I'm too busy reading to deal with that. Sorry." She said angrily as she dug her nose back into her book. The ponies at the table looked at her worried. Sunset was a little pissed. Zephyr waved at Fluttershy. "Rainbow, if it wasn't important, we wouldn't be here. Come on." She called. "No. I'm reading." She said angrily.

Sunset's nerves were running short, and before she exploded, she used her cyan twinkle magic to close Rainbow Dash's book and put it onto a root dangling from the ceiling. "Oh come on! Why does everypony keep doing that?!" She yelled. She attempted to fly up there and get it, but a cyan glow stopped her in her tracks. It pulled her towards the door. "I WANNA READ MY BOOK! I DONY WANNA DEAL WITH THIIISSSS!" She yelled trying to escape. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't. Sunset walked out the door with her magic pulling Rainbow Dash along with her. Zephyr watched as she was pulled out if the room, before following himself. Everypony else just glanced at one another, before going back to what they were doing.

Sunset took Rainbow Dash to her guest room in the Castle, and closed the door after letting Zephyr in. She also used a spell to lock it so Rainbow couldn't escape before setting her free from her magic. Rainbow crossed her hooves, and looked away. Zephyr walked toward her slowly. Before sitting a foot away from her. "I wanna tell you something Rainbows. If you would just listen." He started. He waited for a response. Rainbow raised a brow, letting him know he could continue.

"I know that you recently adopted Scootaloo as your daughter, because she told me. Me and Scootaloo have become close ever since I helped her with some scooter tricks when I first met her. I also know that she loves you, but not in the way I do. Yes, I may bug you about how you're only Equestria's best flyer for me, but of course, I do it out of love. We are friends, and I like that. But you started to make me feel different. I started to love you more than a friend. Scootaloo loves you, and i6 know you love her. If you want to remain just friends for her sake, I'll respect that. I'll still love you, even though you won't want to feel the same way."...
