6. Feeling Funny

The three friends walked through the market place, and Zephyr payed a lot of attention to Sunset Shimmer. "Can I, style your mane sometime. With those colors, it would look just amazing!" Zephyr asked. "Zephyr, you already know I don't want you to-" Rainbow started, but was cut off by Sunset Shimmer answering his question. "Of course you can! I hear your a great stylist! So why not?" Zephyr blushed. So did she. Rainbow was pissed. Is Sunset trying to take Zephyr or something? She said she wanted to give them a chance to talk, but Zephyr seems to only talk to her.

They decided to take a break under a tree and joke around. Sunset showed Zephyr some magic and he was amazed! "Wow! You are the coolest of the cool when you do magic! You are seriously cool!!" Zephyr said with amazement. Sunset giggled. This was the last straw. Rainbow Dash was furious! "Excuse me?!" She yelled at him. Zephyr looked confused. He opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off. "YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HEAD OVER HOOVES FOR ME! IM THE ONLY ONE FOR YOU! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE MINE! I LOVED YOU AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO?! HOW DARE YOU FALL FOR MY FRIEND WHO JUST GOT HERE?!" She yelled. She was close to his face, angry. Zephyr and Sunset were shocked. Zephyr looked her dead in the eye, then smiled and blushed.

The anger in Rainbow's eyes began to fade as she realized what she just said. Her pupils shrunk is shock as what she said played back in her head over and over again. IM THE ONLY ONE FOR YOU....YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE MINE...I LOVED YOU AND THIS IS WHAT YOU DO?!..........

Rainbow's face was still close to Zephyr's. She was frozen. She couldn't move. So Zephyr did something crazy. He moved closer, and pressed his lips against hers. Her pupils shrunk even more, but then she closed her eyes. She realized that there was no going back now. What's said was said. Her muscles loosened as they kissed. She wrapped her hooves around Zephyr's neck and pulled him closer. This lasted for a few moments. When they finally departed, Rainbow clasped her hooves over her mouth. What the hell did I just do? She thought. Her instincts kicked in, and she zoomed away.

Zephyr looked at Sunset. "Success?" He asked. Sunset shook her head. "I don't think were done yet. Just because she embraced the kiss, doesn't mean she is fully ready to let her feelings do the talking yet. But yeah, I told you that she felt the same way. We just had to let her show it. Part 1 of the plan was a success. Now we need to fulfill part 2." Sunset said.
"But we don't know where she went!" Zephyr exclaimed. "I do." Sunset replied. Zephyr followed her.
