Shattered Illusions (Angst/Adrienette)

"Please don't get mad at me but I made and illusion of Adrien and asked Marinette why she was so jealous of Lila when Lila had a real chance with him and Marinette blew up saying that Lila was a liar and that Adrien knew this so why was he breaking her heart by taunting her and then she left mad and the real Adrien hasn't been able to talk to her and now they hate each other and are super depressed and I have been trying to fix this for three months but I can't fix it and now I need your help!"

Rena Rouge took a deep breath as she finished her sentence and stared at Ladybug and Chat Noir. She was expecting them to yell at her and tell her that yes, they can totally help her fix this. She wasn't expecting Chat Noir to growl and snap her miraculous off of her neck. Alya was surprised when she saw Trixx tumbling out of the Miraculous, disappointment written all over the tiny fox god's face. Chat Noir clutched the fox miraculous in his claws, his strength and anger was telling him to snap it, destroy it, just like it destroyed him and Marinette's friendship. But instead he placed it around his neck and glared at Alya, tears threatening to fall.

For three god damn months he had wondered what he did wrong, why did Marinette hate him, for three god damn months he realized he just lost not only the friendship of the girl who he admired but the girl who made him feel alive. For three god damn months he suffered knowing that he loved Marinette and now he had absolutely no chance with her. He had watched as Alya planned blind dates for Marinette and how she dragged him along, he cried every night at how beautiful she looked on those dates and how badly he wanted to take her out himself.

For three god damn months Marinette had sobbed and weeped her eyes out in Alya's comfort. Now she was sick to her stomach knowing her so called best friend had torn her and Adrien apart. That through all those three months of Alya trying to get her to move on, the silence, the urge to talk to Adrien, the depression, she had caused it all! All the fucking dates Alya planned with random strangers for her, then Adrien would be brought over by Alya and she would just dig the knife in deeper as her and Adrien made eye contact on those dates.

Three god damn months

All this time Alya had known, had been by Marinette's side as she weeped and fell into depression. She fucking knew! No she didn't just know she was the reason. Chat Noir's eyes wandered over to Ladybug who was shaking, one hand was covering her mouth while the other was tightly clutching her body, tears falling from her blue belle eyes as Trixx nuzzled her cheek. Alya stood up as Chat Noir spun around to look at her, venom laced his words as he spoke. "You will NEVER get this back." Alya grew pale and stood her ground, "You can't do that!" Alya looked at Ladybug, "He can't do that right? You gave me that Miraculous! He can't just take it away!" Ladybug looked at Alya with hate, "He can do that, he has every right to take it away from you. Obviously I was wrong to ever trust you with the power of illusion." Ladybug said shakingly and Trixx glared at Alya.

"But I need it! I have to fix this! Adrien needs to be happy again so he can be with Lila and Marinette needs to be his friend again so she can move on!" Chat Noir snapped, Trixx and Ladybug watched in horror as Chat Noir grabbed Alya by the collar of her plaid shirt. "What makes you think you have the right to control them! Do you even realise what you did?!" Chat looked back at Ladybug who was still crying and being comforted by Trixx. "You ruined their friendship! You tore them apart! I have never seen Adrien so depressed as he is! He won't even smile and god forbid your Marinette's best friend! You should have seen how they interacted with each other! You should have seen how she stopped smiling, laughing, how she lost all the color in her eyes because YOU made a fucking illusion of him sayng he loved Lila and was taunting her!"

Chat Noir grit his teeth and shook Alya, "You don't fucking get it do you?!" Alya looked down confused, "HE LOVES HER!" Alya and Ladybug both gasped as Trixx smirked, "HE LOVES HER! You were just too stupid to realise it! Why do you think he stopped smiling? Why do you think he stopped caring?! When you're in love that one person is everything! They are the sun, the moon, the stars, the cosmos! You took that from him!" Alya stared down angrily as Chat Noir put her back down on the floor. "You ripped away the one person that made Adrien smile like he really was happy." Alya scoffed, "What would you know Chat Noir? You're not Adrien's friend." Chat hissed and got in Alya's face, " I have eyes Alya something you don't fucking have, you think we are blind to what happens at your school? We observe your actions and this has shown you never deserved a miraculous in the first place!"
