' She overcame everything that wanted to destroy her. '
Someone once said to Noebella Weasley, 'I don't know how you do it.' She was Eleven at the time and dying. Blood ran from her nose in feeble droplets, painting the once white sheets of her medical bed a crimson colour that had become an all too familiar sight to the young girl.
She had simply told them 'I don't have a choice.'
Noebella Weasley was not your average teenage girl, she knew that life wasn't promised to her. People are blessed everyday by simply being able to rise in the morning. And sometimes, even though she struggled to get herself from the confines of her bed, Noebella would rise in the morning with a smile, grateful that she could do just that.
That morning, thankfully, was not one of those days where she had to struggle out of bed.
"Ron, Ron wake up you big Oaf!" Noebella Weasley huffed, the red strands of hair fanning her forehead blowing up at the breath of air "Help." Noebella pleadingly looked over her shoulder at an amused Harry.
Sleepily rising from his own bed that the Weasley family provided him with when he stayed at the Burrow, Harry yawned behind his hand as he gave Noebella a small shrug "Sorry Noe, he's your problem this morning." Harry grinned amusedly as he blindly ran his hands about the night stand for his glasses, slipping them on over his nose once he found them.
"We'll see about that." Noebella knowingly smirked as she marched from the room, leaving a snoring Ron and a confused Harry in her wake.
Holding back a laugh when the young girl marched back in moments later with a reluctant Hermione in tow, Harry smiled at his best friend in greeting.
"Ron. Ronald wake up." Hermione sighed as she slapped Ron upside the head to wake him, the ginger jolting to life with a gasp as he yanked his bed sheets up over his chest, staring wide-eyed at Hermione hovering over his bed with a stern look plastered on her face.
"Hermione!" Ron yelped, face turning a brilliant shade of red as Noebella hid her head in Harry's shoulder to smother her giggles.
"Honestly Ron, Mrs Weasley's been calling you down for the last twenty minutes." Hermione rolled her eyes, pursing her lips in an attempt to hide her blush at the sight of Ron's bare chest.
Watching as the slightly older girl left the room with a huff, Noebella openly began to laugh at her brothers expense as he glared up at her, unimpressed "Tha's your doing I s'pose Bell?" Ron slightly slurred in his sleepy state causing his sister to giggle once more as she nodded her head "I'll get you for that." The boy jokingly glared as Noebella's eyes widened, the girl quickly scurrying from the room before her youngest older brother could do anything.
"Morning Mum!" Noebella skipped into the kitchen once she'd changed, an oversized Gryffindor Quidditch Jersey that had once belonged to her brother Charlie smothering her small frame.
"Good morning Noebella love." Molly Weasley beamed at her eldest daughters happy state, ignoring as her other children groaned at the girls bright tone.
"How are you possibly so cheerful?" Fred mumbled from where he was struggling to stay awake above his plate of toast, face distorted by his fist unwittingly smashing into his cheek.
"What do you mean?" Noebella smiled in amusement at her brothers tone as his twin jolted awake on his shoulder and blearily smiled at her.
"It's way too bloody early No-no." George yawned into his hand as Fred slipped and banged his head on his buttered toast, pulling his head up in alarm and messily wiping the crumbs and butter from his head as his twin snickered beside him, Noebella doing her best not to laugh at her brothers utterly confused face.
