Jimin was laying in his bed, looking out to window as he drew circles on the sheets on his bed. It was early, no too early but early enough for the birds to be singing their song. He had dark bags under his red swollen eyes. There was a knock at his door.
"Yes?" Jimin asked weakly.
"The king would like you to come down, sire."
"Okay." Jimin answered plainly.
Jimin sat up and slid his slippers on. Not bothering to brush his hair, or fix his face, or even change out of his boxers and oversized white shirt.
He walked down the stairs and heard yelling and his dad's calm voice. He turned the corner to the hallway hearing to his father's office.
"Jin, dear, now calm down." The queen cooed.
"No! This bastard is undeserving of my brother!" Seokjin roared.
"I don't see how you reached that conclusion. I've been nothing but respectful to Jimin." Evan claimed.
Jimin slowly walked behind them all and touched Seokjin's arm. Seokjin turned around quickly and grabbed his face.
"Baby! Are you okay? Does anything hurt?" He asked fanatically.
Jimin shook his head and whispered, "I thought I told you not to tell father?" He asked pained.
"Jimin, they say I'm hitting you. Am I hitting you?"
Jimin looked to Seokjin then to Evan, debating his answer. Saying yes, who will believe him? The wounds healed too well. Saying no, will that keep him safe? Evan might hit him for telling someone.
"I..."
"Jimin, son, think about your answer, and tell the truth. You wouldn't lie about this just to get out of the marriage right?" The king boomed.
Jimin's head shot up offended. "I would never, father! You know I hold to my duties as a prince!" He shouted to his father.
"Then? Does he hit you?"
Jimin stares at his father, eyes glued to him as his father looked to Evan, who had a smirk on his face.
"No." Jimin said sharply.
"I told you, your majesty. Your eldest just doesn't want his younger brother to get married."
"He's lying! Jimin came home crying with a bruise on his face!" Seokjin shouted accusingly.
"Jimin?" The king asked, directing the accusation towards him.
"I was tired. I was just upset and tired. I fell while I was at Evan's palace." Jimin lied looking from his father to Evan.
His father nodded before dismissing them. The king and queen walked off and Seokjin watched their backs before turning to Jimin, whispering to him.
"Why did you do that?! We could've gotten you away from him."
"I'll be fine. My duty as a prince to take part of this marriage. If it gets worse I'll tell you." Jimin smiled to his brother.
Seokjin looked to Evan who had a victorious smirk on his face.
"Go." Jimin whispered and Seokjin hesitantly left.
Jimin looked to Evan before walking to his room, he heard Evan behind him then busted into his room, rushing to shut the door. Evan caught it and threw it open. Jimin fell back onto his butt as Evan slammed the door. Jimin stood up and backed away. Evan rushed and grabbed his upper arms, pulling him to himself. Jimin cried out and tried to fight him off, his hands on Evan's chest as he tried to push away.
