It was officially the first week of Christmas break for Marlee and Jasmine, so the two decided to meet up on a Wednesday for a private room spa day at their favorite upscale Harlem spa. Over mani and pedis they didn't discuss students or coworker or anything close. It was simply a time for them to unwind, become better friends and draw strength and support from one another.

Relaxed by the treatments they had been recieving all morning both women were currently laughing over wine and cheese as they soaked in the spa's thermal whirlpool as they sipped and luxuriated into the soothing fragrances of jasmine and lavender wafting up from the steamy water.

"How are you enjoying the new place?"

Jasmine inquired as she pushed some hair back in place that had sweated out from the rooms humidity.

"It's been going well, East helped out a lot with a few things that were wrong with the bathroom when I moved in, other that than I love it. Better parking and closer to work."

Jasmine grinned wide at her bestie seeing the happiness all over Marlee's face at the sound of Easton's name.

"What?!?l"

Mars smirked over at Jasmine saying

" Nothing, I'm just happy for you.. I really am.. Aubrey was such a fucking joke.. I just glad you found you a real one because this single life ain't it"

" I'm still single Jas"

" According to who. Because the energy you and Easton give off definelty isn't Freindzone only"

Marlee sighed dipping her self deeper into the warm water, letting her mind relax and thought spill out.

" I mean I feel it when I'm with East, it's just different.. it may be how we met, the fact that I got to know his personality before ever seeing him face to face, so we built a deep friendship through phone and text conversations. When I met him it's just like he fit a missing puzzle piece in me life. You know I hardly talk about my family just because it's not a pretty story. People assume from family name and background that I'm like them and I'm not. I let Easton in, in a way I never have before with a man. Easton sees me, he seems plain on Marlee and it's beautiful but also frightening at the same time"
