"I can't believe I pulled the short straw." Richie muttered walking inside behind Eddie and Bill. "You guys are lucky you're not measuring dicks." Richie said.
"Shut up, Richie." Eddie muttered.
"I can smell it." Eddie almost gagged while looking around.
"Don't breathe through your mouth." Richie said wandering into a side room filled with vines and cobwebs.
"How come?" Eddie replied while fishing his inhaler out of his fanny pack.
"Because then you're eating it." Richie smirked inspecting the room. Even though he was smiling, and joking around, he was definitely nervous. The house gave off an eerie feeling. Something caught Richie's eye, making him push his glasses up.
"What?-" Eddie started gagging, he took a puff of his inhaler breathing like cray.
Bill wandered over to Richie, seeing him hold a piece of paper.
"It... It says I'm missing." Richie was paler than before. He was staring at the paper like as if he walked in on a dead body. He gulped nervously while his hands were shaking. Eddie went over curious as to what Richie was talking about.
"You're not m-missing, Richie." Bill said trying to reassure him.
"'Police department, City of Derry.'" Richie read off while shaking. Bill tried to grab the paper.
"That's my shirt. That's my hair. That's my face." Richie was breathing heavier as he was pointing out the different details on the paper.
"Calm down, it isn't real!" Bill said desperately trying to take the paper.
"That's my name. That's my age! That's the date!" Richie screamed out, the nerves in his body were starting to make him panic.
"No, it says it! What the fuck?" Richie screamed in a panic. Am I missing? Am I gonna go missing?" Richie looked at them while freaking out.
"Calm down. Calm down!" Bill said ripping the paper away. Eddie took a peak at the paper. It was a missing poster. Eddie watched in fear.
"Look at me, Richie. Look at me." Bill said calmly. Richie looked at Bill while fighting the urge of tears. "That... That isn't real. It's playing tricks on you." Bill put on a serious face. Richie felt himself calming down a bit.
"Hello?" A feminine voice said from upstairs. The three looked at eachother before making their way up the stairs, careful to avoid touching cobwebs.
"Hello?" Eddie mumbled feeling his nerves start to get to him. They all stopped in the hall seeing a girl in a room down the hall. The top half was showing, she was breathing heavily with her arms ahead of her. The girl seemed to notice them.
"Help me, please!" She cried out.
"Betty?" Richie mumbled.
"Ripsom?" Eddie mumbled. The girl was suddenly dragged away. Her screams filled the house. Bill started to walk in the room quickly, to look for where Betty went. Richie followed behind. Eddie was about to go when they both heard something.
"Eddie..." a low voice mumbled. "What are you looking for?"
"Guys, can you guys hear that?" Eddie asked slightly spooked, while staring at the room that it came from.
"She was just here. Where the fuck did she go?" Richie asked looking at the bedroom. Bill was mainly confused of how Betty just vanished in 2 seconds.
