I'm not necessarily the "good kid" in school , but I never really get detention besides for too many tardies in class but this time I was kind of fed up with the teacher and I wasn't in the mood. As I was walking out of class he yelled "y/n! come back , you didn't do your assignment last night and I deserve an explanation" and I had flipped him off from behind while I was turned around walking out , and he gave me a detention. Stupid right? I'm a highschool student what does he expect? Well whatever
In detention
detention teacher- "alright now you have to be an here only an hour , so don't push it"
I was sitting in the back just staring off into space because it was boring and we couldn't have out phones
I was sitting next to this one trouble maker that's actually really popular because he's a bad kid and well , high school students seem to like that. I was also sitting by this one girl on the other side of me who's always really good but she got a detention for skipping class with a friend one time. Then right in front of me was a boy who gets in trouble sometimes if he's just not in a mood , he's not necessarily a bad kid , but he just doesn't care or really fear anybody so if anyone threatens him , he's all for it and if a teacher gives him attitude , he gives it right back.
I could see him turn around out of boredom and look at me
"hey I don't really see you in here , what'd you do?" he whispered
"uhm oh yeah , I flipped off Mr. Wilson" i replied quietly
"oh-" he chuckled "didn't know you had it in you" i laughed
"yeah welp , he got on my nerves" i replied
"can't argue with that" he said
"and you?"
"oh , I fought Micheal" he replied
my eyes widened "why-" I said
"he was talking about my sister"
"protective much" i laughed
he laughed and started to reply but the teacher yelled
"hey! no talking , be quiet back there" me and him looked at each other and laughed , he turned around
time skip 55 minutes
"alright delinquents , times up" he said sarcastically
"finally , take these cuffs off me" jackson said lifting his wrists up sarcastically and laughing
the teacher rolled his eyes
we all walked outside , some people rode off in bikes , others in their cars, other people got picked up, and so on.
I was walking home so I started to but jackson grabbed my wrist making me turn around facing him
"uhm hi?" I said looking at him confused
"are you walking?" he said
"uh yeah" i replied
"i can give you a ride" he said
"no that's okay , I enjoy walking" i said "good exercise" i laughed
"your already in shape , now come on" he replied
he said now grabbing my hand and trailing off to the parking lot
I just went along with it
we walked up to his car and i was really surprised
he had this absolutely gorgeous car
