A Cottage Down The lane - Draco Malfoy

Chapter 1

You were running away from Hogwarts as the battle continued. You legs were growing tired and you felt yourself slowing down. Your breathing became heavier and you heard distant breathing. Your head followed the sound of the breathing. 3 people, pale looking, stood there with wands pointing towards the direction you were standing in. One of the peculiar men said, "Darling there is no where to run, your father will find you eventually." You frantically search for your wand to cast a spell on the 3 men. But someone had already done that for you. Your eyes were drawn to a figure in a black suit, you say softly "Draco..."

You were shocked that the person who used to bully you just saved your life. You both stand there silent for a few moments before Draco breaks the silent, "What are you doing here?" You reply "I could ask you the same thing." He says "Well I asked you first." You groan "Ugh fine, I was trying to get away from the dark lord. Now you?" He says "Why are you trying to get away?" You say "I asked you a question, it would be polite to answer, or did mummy not teach you that?" Draco clenches his fists into a ball. He grabs you wrist as he launches himself at you, he says "I want to know why!" You say "Only if you let go of me!" He loosens his grip on you. You say firmly, "you must not tell anyone what i'm about to say or I will hex you, got it?" He nods swiftly, you sigh and blurt out, "I'm his daughter." Draco's eyes expand in shock of what came out of his mouth. You fell tears swelling in your eyes. Suddenly a waterfall of tears falls from your eyes and your drop down to the floor. Draco rushes over to your side and reassures you that everything will be okay. You say in between sobs, "Why do you care so much?" His actions stop and he doesn't know what to reply for a few seconds, he eventually says "Well, b- because I never actually hated you, I always wanted to be your friend b- but you always took the jokes seriously. I though I would eventually do something to you that would hurt you so I just stopped." Your breathe was taken away from what had filled your ears. Just then, your lips connected with his...

Your head is telling you to pull away as it is 'The Boy' who had been so mean to you, however something stopped you from pulling away, your heart. Draco was first confused why you had just kissed him but then joined in. Draco pulled away from the kiss and before you could say anything he grabs your hand and says "Run away with me." You say "Draco, we need to think about this, what about your parents and our friends?" He replies quickly, "Forget about them darling, it's you and me, just think of a world we could create." Thoughts spun through your head. Draco throws himself upwards and stands over you. His hand reaches out for you. Then, you slowly slip in onto his. He smiles and brings you into a hug. You guys stand there and he says, "Come on then, we should get going." You make your way through the forbidden forest, looking back at the world you were leaving behind. You both make it to a b&b near Hogsmeade and Draco walks over to the reception desk leaving you to wonder around the mysterious building. By a big fire, that was roaring, a large painting hung above it. It moved in a slow way. A women came up behind you and stood next to you, she says "That's the owner of Hogsmeade." The old man looks down at you and winks at you. A small smile creeps on your face, you say to the woman, "do you come here often?" She says "Every Saturday darling." You smile and say "I best be off to go get some food, see you around." She smiles and waves goodbye to you.
