Kotu, a slim, fluffy, blue flamed fox sat overlooking his carefully designed sun which he had made in memory of Piiloto. He took a deep breath in and let it out, looking over at the grey cat-wolf next to him. He looked back to the mountains in front of him, swishing his tail over his paws. He wished that she would accept his wishes which was for her to be a god but something about that never sat well with her. It was as if she hated him for a reason he did not know.
The cat-wolf opened her jaws to speak then closed them. She so desperately wanted to leave this sun never to return. Her grey cat-like tail flicked side to side behind her as she waited for the demi-immortal god to speak.
"Perhaps we should talk, Aliika" Kotu said in a gentle voice you would imagine a father to have, "you seem to be frustrated with something."
In response to the name Aliika she dug her claws into the soil of the ledge she was sitting on. "Perhaps I am frustrated with you. Kotu." She said his name with hatred.
"Why are you frustrated with me Aliika?" he responded, he looked at her with gentle dark blue eyes.
"Why do you keep calling me that?!" she lashed out "I've told you so many times not to call me that! I've told you that I only want to be called that by my father, by my people, by my planet and my dead mother if you would actually let me see her. Aliika does not belong to you she belongs to Piiloto." Wolf clenched her teeth, the grey fur on her neck bristling.
The blue flamed fox was taken aback by this cat-wolf's behavior. He looked over the crystal blue lake in front of him and sighed. He looked back to Wolf, his eyes fixed on her, "I cannot understand why you would like your name to be the name of a species."
"Shilu Olsh" she replied in an angry yet saddened voice, she curled her knees, so they pressed against her chest. She then hugged them, grasping each of her elbows and placing her head on her knees. "I've already told you what that means and why I want Wolf to be my name, Shilu Olsh translates to Little Wolf."
Kotu sighed, "Wolf, please sit up, you aren't looking a lot like a goddess at the moment."
"I never wanted to be a goddess..."
"I know that very well."
"Then why force me to be a goddess?"
"Would you rather of died?"
"If I did, I would be able to see my people again, visit my ancestors, meet the god which saved my planet the first time the Planet Destroyers came..." She exhaled with anger, "why won't you let me see them. The least you can do is let me see my mother."
"You need to focus on your training Aliika" Kotu said as he held a straight face.
"You're an asshole" Wolf muttered looking away.
"Excuse me!" Kotu said harshly "Did I hear what I think I heard?"
Wolf turned her head away slightly, she looked over her shoulder and glared at the flamed fox. Her expression changed to a slight amusement "would you rather be called fox hearted?"
Kotu sighed "I'm trying my best to be your father, the least you could do is not call me names" he said in a kinder but unamused voice.
"You will never be my father; you'll never be a male wolf named Ishao who started the Olsh company. Plus, he's still alive! I feel it." Her ears folded back in anger then she looked up from the sun to see the other stars. "I'll find him one day Kotu."
"Your father is dead, Aliika, he's in heaven with your mother."
"He is not dead." She said harshly, then thought for a moment 'it has been multiple years since I saw through his perspective. The necklace still glows, slightly though... I need to find him. No. I WILL find him at no matter the cost.'
