#13 The Betrayal

As their swords clashed and clanged against each other, Rose came crashing through the wooden railing in the wooden cabin. "HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?!!" Slade yelled, never ceasing his barrage of attacks. "BECAUSE I CAN ACTUALLY FIGHT!!!!" Damian shouted back, deciding to end this. The younger assassin turned his back to his opponent then running toward the wall, dropping his sword. When he pushed himself off the wall after jumping onto it, Damian threw at least 20 bird-a-rangs at Slade. The elder tried to deflect all of them, but failed miserably. "How did he find us?" Damian asked Rose. "I'll tell you later. We have to go." Rose whispered to him, then grabbing his arm, not caring about either of the blushes on their faces, she ran out the door.

Time skip cuz I listen to just about every genre of music. I don't care that it doesn't make sense.

"Okay, we're in Gotham. Now tell me how did he find us?" Damian demanded, his emerald eyes piercing through her bright azure ones. Rose's eyes started to water, and she let tears stream down her face. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you cry!" Damian said as a whisper yell, lowering himself to her level. "I-I-I-I'm so sorry.  didn't want to but he made me! He would've killed you! I can't lose you!" Rose managed to speak through the mess of tears flooding her face. "I-it's-I'm okay. Okay? You won't lose me. okay? Are any of the other members in danger?" Damian asked, remembering why the team had to spread throughout the entire continent.

FLASHBACK!!!! YAY!!!!(ohh nooo)

"If  we don't make it back, you have to be safe. I am aware of the GO, so Cass and Jay will be staying in Gotham. Damian is going to Alaska with Rose. Dick, you and Kori (Fuck Dick x Babs!!) are in Canada, Babs and Alfred are with me, and Tim and Steph are Bludhaven. If one of Slade's clones come after you, make a call to everyone else. If you can't manage that, ----"  "Then come to Gotham." Everyone finished  Bruce, including Jason. He smiled, seeing the entire family finally come together. It made him so proud of Jay and Damian. For the longest of time they were the ones that everyone hated. Now they all love each other. 

Except Steph and Babs. They hate Damian, even after he apologized, hugged them, and told them that he loves them. And those were the first ones Damian reached out to. He had went to Jason for comfort a week after both of the girls told him "A demon that deserves and feels no love and should go burn in hell for a trillion years." It took him that long to come out of his room without throwing every throwable weapon at the girls' door. He still wouldn't speak to anyone but Dick, only because Dick had to force Damian to talk.

Tim was next for Damian to connect with, and they didn't talk the entire time. No, they were too good of a pair of hackers to actually talk. They chatted through the dark web. No one knows what the hell they talked about. After that day and a half, Damian went to Cass. This was two years before the Gotham Outlaws, and they both had already held respect for the other. So that wasn't hard.

Next was Selina and Helena. They hated/loved each other. Selina on the other hand, well he didn't hate her at all. You could count the number of times Damian called her "Mom" on your fingers. But, two days after all of that, Selina and Helena both died. Correction: Joker beat them both to death. With a crowbar. Jason shot his window and searched Gotham for two months after he was told this. After the first Day of The Hunt, he got no sleep. The Red Hood gang was arrested because he gave up the location of every single one of them after hearing that one of his men leaked the local of his late mother and sister.

"C'mon, we have to go to Jason and Cass. I know where they are!" Damian said after he and Rose conversed.
