Standing in her room by herself was Scarlett, looking back at herself in the mirror. Evie had really out done herself with this one. Scarlett loved it, it was her exact shade of red and had hints of black all over it. It even had a long draping cape that extended from her shoulders down to the back.
On her middle finger upon her left hand was Jay's cobra ring. They weren't exactly dating per say, but they weren't just friends either. It was all very confusing for Scarlett.
As she was zipping up the back of her newest pair of knee high black stilettos with a red bottom sole and her name up the sides, a knock was placed upon her door.
"Come in!" She called out to whoever was at the door.
The door swung open gently as a very ravishing Jay appeared. His hair was in a bun and slicked back. He looked like a true gentleman, one of the very many qualities that Scarlett found very appealing about him.
"You look..amazing." Jay's eyes wondered from her face down to her shoes then back up at her.
A blush slowly creeped up on Scarlett's face as she bowed her head.
"You don't look to bad yourself." She smirked softly while pushing her hair back behind her ear.
"May I?" Jay asked softly as he held out a corsage that he got specially ordered for Scarlett.
The flowers were red peony's which matched Scarlett's dress perfectly. She sighed softly as Jay places the corsage around her wrist. Once that was done, Scarlett picked up a boutinerre for Jay and pinned it to his shirt softly.
"Ready to go handsome?" Scarlett asked with a big smile on her face. Jay nodded as he held out his arm for her to take.
Scarlett wrapped her arm around in Jay's as they began walking to the stretched carriage that would take them to Cotillion.

As they both arrived to the place where the Royal Cotillion was suppose to be, Jay got out and helped Scarlett down. Scarlett smiled at Jay as she picked her dress up so it didn't drag against the ground.
They both made their way up the ramp and onto the boat, Scarlett let her dress down as she looked arouks the boat. Jay handed the ticket collector their tickets before walking to catch up with Scarlett.
It was a beautiful night, the moon and stars were out. Gleaming against the water and reflecting back onto the boat. Jay couldn't help but smile as he watched Scarlett look over the side of the boat and into the water.
She was fiddling with her necklace that Evie had made for her on her birthday. A ruby gem in the middle of her chest with a lion charm on it.
Scarlett jumped as Jay placed his hand on her lower back, she smiled softly as she looked up at the guy who made her heart beat faster and melt at the same time.
Soon, it was time as the horns began to blow in the air, we all made our way to the front. Evie, Jay, Carlos, and Scarlett were waiting for the arrival of their best friend and leader, Mal.
"The future lady, Mal." Lumiere stated to all of those who attended, Jay stood next to Scarlett holding her hand softly.
