It was a quite night in some kind of town. All that could be heard were the sound of crickets chirping in the night. One building had a guard outside it with his arms crosses as a serpent like being was currently unware to the guard. "I'd rather be anywhere else but here tonight." said the guard to himself as the creature leaped down next to him and began hissing. "THE SNAKE DEMON! IT'S THE SNAKE DEMON!" he cried making a run for it. The snake demon let out a laugh before pulling open the doors of the building that had been guarded and went inside making his way over to a crate and pulling it open. The demon hissed in delight as the crate was full of shiny blocks of silver.

Meanwhile....

"So this is Hady. This cruise on the Florida keys is one of the best ideas we've ever had!" said Velma as she, Daphne, Fred, Starchild, Spaceman, Catman, Demon, and Cleo stood on the ship with the Captain. "Yes, but we're missing a few people." said Cleo. "Cleo's right. Where are Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy?" asked Daphne. "Here we are! Ready for some fun on the beach of Hady!" said Shaggy as he and Scooby came up carrying beach gear with Scrappy right behind them. "What's Scooby carrying, Shaggy?" asked Fred. "Would you believe it if I said inflatable rafts?" asked Cleo. "Rafts?" asked Spaceman. "Yeah, all you gotta do is pull the cord, Spaceman! Like this, see?" said Scrappy reaching for the cord. "Scrappy, not yet!" said Shaggy. But it was too late and all the rafts had inflated causing Scooby do drop them in the water. "Oh no!" cried Scooby. "Oh boy, like there goes our day at the beach!" said Shaggy. "Sorry, Shaggy, but what do you expect from a puppy?" asked Scrappy. "Oh don't be so hard on yourself, Scrappy. Perhaps Shaggy should've been more specific when he gave you the instructions." said Cleo as the gang got off the ship and onto the docks. "Gee, thanks, Cleo! Your the best!" cheered Scrappy. "I try." laughed Cleo. "Snake Demon!?" cried Shaggy and Scooby as two people walked over to Shaggy, Scooby and Scrappy who were still on deck. Cleo tensed up. Someone PLEASE tell her the word snake wasn't mentioned! Cleo HATED snakes! Actually scratch that. She was TERRIFIED of snakes! "Now that's more like it! Let's go!" said Scrappy as Shaggy and Scooby began shaking. Truth be told, Cleo was feeling a little faint herself. "Uh, Cleo? You alright over there?" asked Catman. "Oh certainly. After I lay down, I'm feeling faint!" said Cleo grabbing her head. "Uh huh! Like I'm not going any place that has snake demon's near it!" cried Shaggy leaping on the railing that lead off the boat. "Me either!" said Scooby joining Shaggy. "I also second that notion! You will get me no where near an area with snakes! Let alone a demon snake!" said Cleo. "Ah, your just trying to protect me! Well I can take care of myself!" said Scrappy caring Shaggy and Scooby off the boat. "Like whose going to take care of us?" asked Shaggy. "Count me out! I'm staying right here!" said Cleo. "Ah, come on, Cleo! There's nothing to be scared of! My Uncle Scooby will protect us!" said Scrappy as he lifted Cleo and put her practically on top of Shaggy. "Scrappy, put me down!" yelled Cleo as the puppy carried the three of them away from the boat. "Anyone else think Cleo's got a fear of snakes?" asked Spaceman. "Big time." said Catman. " No kiddin. Scrappy! I'd put Cleo down if I were you!" yelled Demon going after the puppy.

"This place is sure crowded!" said Velma when the gang reached the market. "We seem to have lost Defarge and Mr. Percy." said Fred. "Hey, check it out guys, a native wood carver!" said Starchild. "I've heard of stone carving but never wood carving." said Cleo as everyone headed over. "Looks like we're just in time for the show too." said Demon. The carver began carving at great speed until there was noting but a huge pile of wood shavings. "Like what's so special about that?" asked Shaggy. The carver then took a deep breath and blew covering the gang in wood shavings. "You were saying?" asked Catman as the crowd began to cheer at the newly revealed statue. "Aw you ain't seen nothin yet!" said Scrappy running towards the stage. "Oh boy, here we go again." said Spaceman as Scrappy came back with a log of his own. "Make way for Scrappy DOO!" he cried before carving an exact replica of himself. "OK, now THAT'S impressive!" said Demon as the gang clapped and cheered. "Way to go, Scrappy!" said Cleo. "Like he's a chip off the old block, eh, Scoob?" asked Shaggy with a laugh. "Reah!" laughed Scooby as Scrappy began bowing. "Wonder! Magnificent display!" said Mr. Percy dusting himself off while standing next to Defarge. "Did you enjoy it, Mr. Defarge?" asked Velma walking over to the two men. "Ah, oui! I never miss the wood carving when I am in port!" said Mr. Defarge in a French accent.
