Remember the story of the rabbit and the turtle?

It wasn't just the rabbit and the turtle's story. Mr. Fox was also behind everything in it.

Let's go back to when it began.

ONE DAY, a rabbit met a turtle.

The rabbit spoke to the turtle, "Why are you so slow?"

The turtle then tried to smile and replied nothing.

"I can run fast like a wind," the rabbit announced confidently.

The turtle was provoked and challenged him on a race. "Tomorrow in the afternoon, same time.. same place."

They agreed and go on their separate ways.

Later that night, the turtle was extremely worried about the race.

He shouldn't have done that!

Challenging a rabbit was never his choice. He needs help!

The turtle went to the home of the cleverest animal in the forest—Mr. Fox.

Outside Mr. Fox's cave, the turtle pleaded, "Mr. Fox, I need your help. Please!"

Mr. Fox replied, "How can I help a little turtle?"

"I need to win the race against the rabbit," the turtle said.

"you have no match for the rabbit," said Mr. Fox.

"You're the cleverest animal in the forest. What should I do to win?"

Mr. Fox handed a plant to the turtle, "Plant this and you'll win."

"How could I win because of this plant?"

"The moment the rabbit will see the fruit of that plant, he will be fast asleep and you'll undoubtedly win the race."

They didn't know that the rabbit heard their conversation.

The turtle did what he was told.

But the rabbit was wise enough to uproot the plant and kill it. By the thought of a carrot making him a loser, he uprooted all the plants that bear carrots.

The next day, in the afternoon, the race started.

The rabbit ran fastly while the turtle started walking naturally. He is hoping that he'll win.

Along the way on the race track, the rabbit felt dizziness.

He stopped by in the nearest tree station to sit and rest.

He hasn't eaten anything since last night because he killed all the carrots that are available in the locality.

Then, he was fast asleep.

The turtle walked on and on until he reached the finish line.

The poor rabbit was too late when he woke up!

He went home without a piece of bacon.
