I wake up Ricky and check my phone.I get a text from Mariana aka my girl best friend or keep it short GBF.
" Party at Jake's?" -M
" Idk you know I'm not really into parties.Let me ask Ricky." -R
"😏" -M
Mariana knows about my crush on Ricky.She told me thousands of times to make a move but I'm scared.I don't wanna ruin our 10 years of friendship. His mom and My mom were friends so me and Ricky grew up together.
I ask Ricky " You up for a party at Jake's?"
"Sure it's a Saturday night and we don't really have really have plans." Ricky replied.
I go back on the phone and text Mariana
" He's up for it" - R
"Get ready, I'll pick you guys up at around 8:30" -M

"Okay" -R

"Mariana said that she'll pick us
Up at 8:30 so get ready" I said.
" Oh okay I'll be back in 20 minutes, see ya Rach", Ricky said leaving.
After Ricky left I went to dry my hair and turned on my curling iron.After curling my hair in loose waves, I sprayed some hairspray so the waves stayed in place. After that I walked into my close.I put my finger to my chin, I chose to wear my Brandy Melville moon crop top with light American shorts.I got my makeup bag and got out my eyeliner and made a simple wing.Then I put some of my benefit lip tint on my lips after applying my eos mint lip balm. Perfect , just at that moment Ricky shows up. Oh my god he looks so perfect. He wore a simple white v- neck and black jeans.Even in a simple shirt and jeans , he looks like a Abercrombie model.
" Stop drooling over me Rach , I know I'm hot." Ricky said.
I know you're hot , " You wish you were Rippers" I said while putting on shoes.
" I am by the way what time is it? It's almost 8:30" Ricky asked.
" It's 8:29 , she should be here any minute now" I answered while grabbing my keys.At that very moment we hear a honk from the front of house.
" See right on time" I said while exiting the door.

During the car ride
" Hey Mariana, thanks for picking us up" I said.
"No problem" Mariana answered.
