Towards the back of the room, he lurked in the shadows, observing as he always did. She was a beautiful as ever, with full lips and luscious curves. But something was wrong today.
“You seem peaky, love.” he said absentmindedly as he brushed back her flowing blonde locks. “You feeling okay.”
She shifted slightly under his touch and he sighed contentedly.
Here he was in his dream house with his dream girl, but something was still off. He clicked on the light and swore.
This wasn't her. Those dead eyes and peeling skin, those weren't her's. He sighed and grabbed his trusty baseball bat. Time to go out and find her again.
