(DAY 1 IN ANOTHER WORLD)

"Good morning, Ms Yashiro" a voice of a woman woked her up. She fluttered her eyes open and sat up.

"Good morning" she greeted back and adjusted her sight.

"How was your sleep?" the nurse scribbled on her notes while checking up on her.

"Good" she simply replied as she stared outside the window

"Alright, I'm done checking. Eat your breakfast before it gets cold" the nurse left the room and she ate her breakfast. Afterwards, she went inside the bathroom to take a shower and wore a clean hospital gown. She wore her bunny slippers and went out of her room. She wasn't paying attention to her surroundings and suddenly bumped someone.

"I'm sorry" she bowed to the person

"It's fine, actually" a boy replied. She looked up and saw two familiar amber orbs.

"Your eyes look pretty" she muttered underneath her breath but the boy heard it clearly which made him flustered.

"Uh- thanks" he rubbed the back of his neck while eyeing the girl.

"My name's Yugi Amane" he smiled at her

"My name is Yashiro Nene" she smiled back

"Soo where are you heading to?" the boy asked

"I don't know" she replied which made the boy chuckled

"I know a place! Let's go to the rooftop!" He suggested and took her hands and dragged her.

"Aren't we allowed here?" She asked in fear of getting caught.

"No one actually comes here so we're safe" he replied while plopping himself on the hard ground.

"Are you sick?" She asked while sitting down beside him.

"That's a very straightforward question but yes, I am." He replied

"I'm sick as well but I don't know exactly what my sickness" she replied

"Me too. Are you new here?" He laid down and glanced at the girl beside him. She had her eyes close while her hair danced along with the wind. His head suddenly throbbed in pain and he groaned

"Are you okay?" She asked worriedly

"Yeah I'm fine" he sat up and massaged his head

"What's happening to me?" He asked himself as he recalled what he saw earlier in his mind. It seems as if this scene already happened but the surrounding was full of stars and the moon was present.

"I just had fragments of someone's memory" he explained to her

"Someone's?" She asked confused

"I don't know but when I looked at you earlier it seemed as if my mind glitched or something- never mind I sound crazy" he laughed it off but the look of her face didn't change. She still looked worried

"If you say so" she didn't want to push him so she decided to not question him any more.

"How's your brother doing?" She asked him

"My brother's doing fine- how'd you know I have a brother?" He asked surprised and she realized

"I- i don't know... It just came out of my mouth naturally" she replied while staring at the latter

"I don't know if I'm going crazy but I feel like we've known each other for a long time" he confessed and she nodded in agreement

"We must be soulmates in our past life" they both laughed at each other and went back in case the doctors are searching for them

(IN THE REAL WORLD)

"Shouldn't we atleast search for a way to get them back?" Aoi asked

"We wouldn't find one, aoi-chan" Akane replied

"Don't you all ever wonder where these yokai's come from?" Lemon asked while playing on his phone

"No, why?" Mitsuba asked in confusion

"Isn't it possible that Kako might be responsible for all of this?" Everyone gasped in realization

"I didn't think of that. Lemon you're a genius!" Mirai exclaimed in excitement

"Let's do our best to find clues about him because Yashiro-sama is doing her best in the other world as well" Everyone agreed and gathered for a meeting

"Yashiro-sama!" Yashiro jolted in her nap while her body was covered in sweat.

"What kind of dream was that?" She asked himself while she went inside the bathroom to take a relaxing bath.

"Yashiro-sama?" She replayed the scene in his mind thinking deeply

"I shouldn't probably dwell too much about some crazy dream" she sighed and looked at the time on her phone saying it was 5:00 p.m.

'I wonder what Amane is doing today?' She thought while dressing herself to warm and cosy nightwear. The nurse arrived and handed her dinner and ate it all in one go. After finishing up, she went to bed but she couldn't sleep.

"It's already 2:00 am huh?" She finally decided to sneak out of her room and head to the rooftop. She was surprised that someone was there and that 'someone' was Amane.

"What are you doing here?" She asked and laid down beside him.

"Same question" she glanced at him who was staring at the twinkling stars above them.

"Couldn't sleep" she mumbled and he replied with a simple 'same'

"Aren't they pretty?" Yashiro asked while the stars reflected on her eyes making it gleam

"Yeah they are but you're prettier than them" he said while her face was now tinted in red

"That was slick, Amane" she laughed it off which he later on joined.

"But I was telling the truth though" he waited for her reaction only to hear soft snores.

"Silly daikon" he chuckled while he carried her bridal style and headed back inside. He tucked her in and kissed her forehead gently.

"Goodnight radish-san" he giggled a bit and went to his room
