Chapter 3

TIME SKIP TO SEPTEMBER 1ST

Gamilla's POV

I wake up at 5:00 am and start packing my trunk.  I reach under my bed and pull out a wrapped gift for Peggy's birthday which is on the 19th. I hurry around my room grabbing my supplies. Where is my potions book? I think nervously. Professor Snape hates me already! I don't think that missing my book will help.

"Gamilla? Why are you already awake?" I look over at my door and see my aunt peaking in. "Sorry. I'm just excited." "Well, no use trying to get back to sleep. I'll go start breakfast."

A FEW HOURS LATER

I jump out of the car and run to the train station, pulling my trunk behind me. "Gamilla!" I see Peggy, Eponine, and Ron running over. Behind them, a boy with glasses and a girl with large front teeth look salty. "Hi!" I say setting my things down to hug my friends.

"Ron? Who are they?" I ask pointing to the salty kids. "My friends. Harry Potter and Hermione Granger." 

After about ten minutes of chit-chat, Ron and his salty pal walk away. 

"Let's hurry onto the train!" Peggy exclaims. We quickly go past the barrier and onto platform 9 3/4.  As we walk through the halls of the train we come across Hermione Granger, still looking salty. "What were you three doing with Ron?" she asks in a snotty voice.  I push past her. "Why do you care?" 

She frowns.  "He's my friend, that's why. And I don't want him getting into the wrong groups."

I roll my eyes and find an empty compartment. From the one next to us I can hear Hermione talking to her friends.

"How did a dark witch get into Hufflepuff?" "Dark witch?" "Stepien! They are ALL evil." "Well remember Hyssamaye Stepien? She was a pureblood Stepien and was a really nice Hufflepuff!" "Alright... you're right Pavarti. She could be okay..." 

I stare out of the window, at the sky, thinking about how this year might be. And then I see a blue car flying by the train! I pull out a disposable camera and snap a picture! 

A few minutes later we pull into Hogsmeade station and walk onto the Hogwarts grounds.  I follow the crowd, pulling Peggy and Eponine with me. We walk over to the carriages and Peggy gasps. "Look at those horses!" I look around. 

"I don't see any horses..."
