Darry: That's Erika's room, but the wall is black and the carpet is a dark emerald green.

Erika's p.o.v.

Erika was resting against her window, reading a muggle book called 'Moby Dick'.

"Erika, you got a letter from one of your girlfriends," Gustave teased, hand a small piece of parchment to her. Erika jumped

"Learn to knock!" the annoyed girl hissed, losing her spot. "Leave it on my chair and get out. THEY'RE NOT MY GIRLFRIENDS!" Erika snapped, trying to find her spot. Erika found her spot and finished her page. Erika went to put her book away.

"Please read the letter, I want to know what it says!" Gustave whined.

"GET OUT!" Erika yelled, throwing her book at him. He quickly turned away snd scrambled out of her room. Erika sighed as her brother had finally left the room and she picked up the note. Erika lit a candle and grabbed her letter opener and held it over the flame until it was warm. Erika picked up her letter and in one quick motion, she opened her letter.

Dear Erika,

Are you excited for the next school year? I know I am. I can't WAIT to learn new spells!

Ummm... my dad wants me to write longer letters because if I don't, it's a 'waste of paper'. So now I'm just writing random letters and words so I 'don't waste paper', even though I'm wasting ink.

I don't get his logic.

Anyways, I can't wait to see you and Wednesday this school year!

Lydia

P.S. Oh, I got some new wax and a new wax seal, what do you think!

Erika chuckled at her friend's letter and put it away. Erika pulled out some paper and a pen and started writing a letter to Lydia.
