Chapter 4

Erika's p.o.v.

"Stay close to me," Erika said, holding her brother's hand and leading him to the train. Erika's eyes darted over the crowd, looking for her friends. Ayesha dug her claws into Erika's shoulder.

"Rikki!" A voice called.

"LYDS!" Erika called back, waving her arm.

"I'm so happy to see you!" Lydia said, tackling Erika in a hug. Erika wiggled away from Lydia's hug and sighed.

"Lydia, this is my brother, Gustave. Gustave, this is one of my friends, Lydia," Erika growled.

"Nice to meet you Gustave," Lydia said, holding out a hand. Gustave took her hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you too!" Gustave greeted. Erika turned to Lydia.

"Have you seen Wednesday?" Erika asked. Lydia shook her head and Erika sighed. "Gus, I'm going to let you go and mingle with the other first-years. Lydia and I have to go find our other friend," Erika said, letting go of his hand.

"But I don't wanna leave your side," Gustave whined.

"Gustave," Erika sternly said, removing the hair that covered her face. Gustave nodded and walked away. Erika sighed. "Thank yes," Erika muttered.

"Is he annoying?" Lydia asked.

"Most of the time. He thinks you and Wednesday are my girlfriends when one, I'm not ready to date yet, and two, I'd never date a girl, let alone multiple," Erika explained, scrunching up her nose.

"Oh," Lydia sighed, sounding upset. Erika shrugged it off and started walking towards the train, where Wednesday was bickering with a bleach blonde.

"Come on Wednesday, let's get on the train," Erika said, grabbing her other friend by the arm and dragging her away.

"MY FATHER WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS!" the boy yelled. Erika rolled her eyes and lead her friends to an empty compartment on the train.

"Who was that?" Lydia asked Wednesday.

"Draco Malfoy," Wednesday stated. Erika perked her ears up. She was pretty sure that her father had ties with the Malfoys.

"Say, Rikki, didn't your father have ties with the Malfoys?" Lydia asked.

"I think so. If Mr Malfoy ever brought his son with him, I don't remember," Erika explained.

"Huh, well, that's Draco and we're avoiding him seeing as he seemed to have upset Wednesday," Lydia stated. Erika and Wednesday nodded in agreement. Erika yawned and rested her head on the train window.

"I'm going to take a nap. I didn't get any sleep last night," Erika said, closing her eyes.

"I'll get you some treats if you're still asleep by the time the trolly lady comes by," Erika heard Lydia say before drifting off to sleep.
