3- Reminiscing Bad Memories

TEARDROP'S POV

???: "...that's what happened?"
???2: "Yep. She has been resting for over 5 hours now."
???: "Do you think she's dead?"

What...

???2: "Normally not. She's covered in blankets, so she should be fine."
???3: "Do you know why she was outside?"
???2: "No, but. she probably went stargazing again and fell asleep."
???: "You know. I heard something outside this night."
???3: "Really? What was it, Lollipop?"

Who...?

???: "It was a loud thud. Probably at 2am or so."
???3: "Anything else?"
???: "I don't think so, Gelatin."

Wait, what's happening...?

???: "Wait. I did hear someone going through the halls way before that. Probably at 0:30am."
???2: "Now that I think of it, I heard someone at my door around that time."
???3: "Woa, you have a stalker? That's exciting, Leafy!"

Huh?

I suddenly open up my eyes. The sunlight kind of blinds me, but I still looked around to see a light-green room, and to see I'm laying on a bed, folded in a fluffy white blanket.

???3: "Oh, look! TD's awake!"

I turn to see three people at the room's door.
Wait... Those are Gelatin, Leafy and Lollipop!

Lollipop: "Took you a while to wake up. You've been doing a little 'rest' for 5 hours."

Rest?
Suddenly it hits me. I went outside, fell asleep, woke up in the cold, got carried here and went to sleep again.

Leafy: "Are you feeling better now, Teardrop?"

Leafy says as she approached me, still laying on a bed.
Wait, isn't this Leafy's room?

Gelatin: "She looks way less tired even though she just woke up. So I suppose she's feeling better!"

I get off from Leafy's bed. As soon as I stand up, I feel a pain in my legs and thighs, but I don't mind it.

Leafy: "You can return to your room if you want. Us three can continue talking."

I nod. I unfold myself from the blanket, I lay it on her bed and I start walking back to my room, trying to ignore the pain.

LEAFY'S POV

I become a little worried as Teardrop walks back to her room. Something about her seems off.

Me: "Don't you notice something odd about her?"
Gelatin: "Hmm. No? Why do you ask?"
Me: "The way Teardrop walks... It's different.."
Gelatin: "Oooh. Yeah, I see that too now."

Lollipop observes Teardrop as well.

Lollipop: "Maybe she hurt herself while walking around, or while... falling off of something?"
Me: "What gives you that idea?"
Lollipop: "Think about it. We heard someone go through the halls and we heard a loud thud. And then nothing else at all."
Me: "Yeah? So?"
Lollipop: "You found Teardrop outside, laying against a pillar. In what pose was she sleeping when you found her?"

I think I know where this is going.

Me: "Sideways, with her back to the pillar."
Lollipop: "Soooo, there's a chance Teardrop was sitting on the pillar, fell asleep while on it, and fell off of the pillar. Causing the loud thud."
Gelatin: "So there's a chance Teardrop was the one going through the halls at midnight!"
Lollipop: "Exactly."
Me: "Wait..."

Does that mean Teardrop was the one at my room?

Lollipop: "Hm?"
Me: "Oh, uh, nothing, sorry. I'm just gonna go outside."

I start walking away from the two.

Gelatin: "Seems kinda sus to me."
Lollipop: "That's my line."

As I arrive outside, I remember something. I think there was something nearby.
I decide to search through the field for that thing.
I got to some bushes. And not so far away from those bushes..
Stands Firey. And his ferris wheel.
Just looking at the ferris wheel gives me a bad feeling about this. But I like to make people happy, including him.
I approach Firey, he then notices me.

Firey: "Oh, hi there Leafy. I didn't know you would arrive."
Me: "I mean, anything to make a person happy."
Firey: "Alright, let's use this thing!"

I walked over to one of the baskets of the ferris wheel and took a seat in it.
After that, Firey pressed a button and the ferris wheel started to spin around slowly. At half the rotation, Firey quickly took a seat in a basket as well as the ferris wheel continued moving.
I felt pretty calmed. I should normally be anxious of what should happen, but looking at the view while riding it just calms me down.

Firey: "Oh, It's been so long since we did this, Leafy! We got to do this again!"
Me: "Agreed!"

TEARDROP'S POV

Why?
I thought they had bad terms together.
I thought they started fighting BECAUSE of the ferris wheel.

She looks so happy, though.
If she's happy, I'm happy as well.

I want to give my letter to her, but I don't want to ruin the moment.

Then later, I guess.
