moobloom and glowsquid had been walking and swimming almost all day. the river looked like it never ended. the glow squid knew that its shoal probably wasn't stopping that often, so the night that glow squid spent near moobloom's village put them far behind.
moobloom yawned and looked at glow squid. glow squid was focused on swimming, not wanted to waste anymore time finding its family and friends. moobloom mooed catching glow squid attention. she yawned again making it clear that she was tired.
glow squid looked down the river. there still seemed like so much ahead of them! it was worried if they stopped they would be wasting time they could use to catch up to its shoal. the glowsquid looked back at moobloom and frowned realizing how tired she was.
the squid swam down a bit more tell it found a small trail of the river, leading into a mountain. the squid swam in hoping it would provide shelter for it and moobloom. moobloom followed and looked around in the cave. there wasn't much natural light but some pretty crystals and ores made it looks rather beautiful.
moobloom lied down on the rock. it wasn't that comfortable but it would have to do. she slowly drifted into sleep. the glow squid watched her fall into her slumber and wondered what it should do. it wasn't as tired, more worried about finding its family. it looked around, analyzing the ores, rocks and crystals, until it heard a noise.
it looked over to a small black hole in the far backnof the cave. it waited and suddenly it saw eyes, tons of them, in the darkness of the hole. glow squid worried about what to do. whatever it was seemed scary and glow squid couldn't get out of the water to help moobloom. it sat in the water, paralyzed in fear.
the eyes soon turned into smaller, eight legged creatures, as spiders one by one, trailed out of the hole. the glow squid seemed even more worried, what if they were poisonious or dangerous.
the spiders crawled up to the small pond in the middle of the cave. the spiders saw the glow squid and waved with one of their legs. the glow squid gave a cautious wave back. the spiders looked over at the moobloom, they seemed sad seeing her.
the spiders quickly looked at each other and made a plan. they weaved a small blanket with their webs. they placed it over the moobloom and smiled to each other and glow squid. glow squid smiled back, these spiders weren't dangerous, they seemed nice and friendly.
the spiders looked in the pond and thought about what they could do to help the glowsquid. their eyes lit up with an idea! they wanted to give it food, assuming it would need it for whatever trip it and the moobloom were on. each of the spiders took out one of their eyes and put them in a quickly web-weaved bag. the glowsquid thanked them, grabbing the webbed bag with a tentacle.
the spiders went back into their smaller cave, waving a good bye to the glowsquid. 'what a weird gift' the glow squid thought. it placed the bag of spider eyes next to moobloom and quietly went to sleep in its pond.
