Hovering her finger over the name that had been stuck in her head for the past few days, Lisa contemplated whether to finally call Jennie or not.

She couldn't get the brunette out of her head ever since she saw that misterious woman at the airport a week ago and It was like she brought back up all those memories that she had buried somewhere else during her work over the company problems. She barely concentrated on her work, rereading those papers over and over again but nothing got into her head except for the image of a beautiful gummy smile. She sighed and ran her hand over her face in frustration.

'Should I call her? Does she even think about me as much as I do? I forgot her because of too much work. Maybe the same happened to her. Maybe she doesn't hurt over me anymore. If she's still thinking of me she should have called by now, right? I'm just foolish to think she would care about a random hook up that couldn't become anything'

She groaned and threw her phone on her office desk, giving up the idea of reaching out to her again. Tilting her head to lie on the back of the chair, she stared at the ceiling. If that's how being lovesick felt, she didn't want it.

"I need to forget you" she whispered to herself.

As much as she hated to do it, to forget about her, about the butterflies in the stomach that came with every sight of her, the way their hands fit perfectly with each other, about her soft kisses, warm hugs, sweet voice, beautiful laugh, cute smile, small body-her Jennie, her first and only love-Lisa knew she had to do it sooner or later.

All this pain and longing over someone who probably didn't remember her wouldn't get her anywhere, it won't get them back together. If she knew love was like that, she would have ran away long time ago.

'Fate will bring us back together if we are meant to me be. But for now,

bye Jennie Kim'

For the next few hours Lisa did everything possible to concentrate sorely on her work and nothing else. She read papers, contracts, financial reports, took business calls and even talked to the employees but she made sure that her head was occupied by something that was not her.

Her efforts to find new investors were doing great as now she put all her time and attention on this topic. As she was typing on her computer, suddenly someone burst through the door and walked into the room, startling her. She turned her head and saw and a very smiley Jisoo walking towards the coffee table next to the couch and she put her bag on top.

"Hi, Lis"

Lisa stood up and walked towards her, flopping herself on the couch. "HI, Chu. Why are you here?"

"Because...remember how you said you'll try to free some of your time so we can hang out? What about tonight?" Jisoo asked as she walked towards the bar, pouring herself some whiskey in a cup.

"Yes, I remember that. But I still have some things to finish here so I don't know about tonight-" she rubbed the back of her head as she spoke before Jisoo cut her off.

"Oh, cmon Lisa" she threw her hands in frustration and walked back to the couch.

"Your work never finishes. You'll always have something to do. Since you got back from Paris, you've been burying yourself with work again. You need some time for yourself, to relax, to take a breath. The work won't run away from you. Cmon, leave this thing for tomorrow and let's go out tonight, have some fun like the old times. We can go to our favorite club. We haven't been there in ages, your girl must be missing you" Jisoo laughed as she tried to persuade her friend to go out.

Lisa thought about it. Jisoo was right. She needed to let out some steam from all the pressure and frustration from her work and...other stuff she wanted to forget. She needed to get her head clear. So what was a better way than doing something she was the best at-alcohol and sex? That's what always got her head away from her problems.
