~2 years later~
The darkness of the night that fell over the city and the sound of the loud traffic jam just down the street didn't stop Lisa from being stuck deep inside her thoughts. Following the slow movements of a passing by plane, its blinking light putting her brown eyes into a trance, Lisa stood at her favorite place in form of a lounge chair on her huge apartment balcony with a glass of the already so familiar to her taste buds red wine in hand and let herself be eaten by the feeling she already got so used to feeling throughout the years - longing.
Longing for her lost father, longing for her mother, who also passed away just a few months after her beloved husband. Poor woman's heart couldn't hold all the sadness and pressure put on it, all the sudden emotions that it was put through and eventually, after weeks of fighting for her life, in the same room, same bed as her one and only man, eventually someone up there decided to save her from the misery and torture.
But the person Lisa missed the most, the person that her heart called for every day, the person her hands searched for every morning on the other side of the empty bed, was the one that was with her throughout all those bad times, her anchor, her pillar. The one that changed her life forever.
Lisa was pulled back in consciousness after a series of loud knocks on the glass of her apartment window caught her attention. She turned around and noticed Jisoo walking towards her with a smile on her lips. She settled on the lounge chair next to her, but her smile faltered when she noticed her friend's sad expression.
"Are you sulking about her again? Will you stop already?" Jisoo asked and rolled her eyes on her friend and as on tradition poured some of the wine in a glass.
"I just...miss her" Lisa sighed and cupped her cheek with her elbow propped up on the arm rest.
"Yeah, I've been hearing that a lot lately. Just get over it already, will you? It's not the end of the world"
"But it's the end of mine. It's so hard not having her around, in my arms, next to me, but I always have her in my thoughts. I miss her voice, her smile, everything of her" Lisa explained sadly as she kept staring at the distance, at the nothing in front of her.
"Gosh, you are so whipped. You love her so much, don't you?" Jisoo asked and took a sip of the red liquid as she eyed the blonde woman next to her.
Lisa just nodded her head. "I do, of course. And it breaks my heart that she's 9 000 fucking kilometers away from me now" Lisa gulped the rest of her drink in one go and poured a new one, trying to drink away the pain she felt in her heart. Jisoo just laughed softy at her.
Lisa groaned in response and threw her hands in a childish manner. "Stop laughing me. I miss her. It's been so long since I last saw her" she made a crying face which only let to Jisoo laughing harder at her friend.
"Will you finally stop your dramatic ass? As I said, it's not the end of the world. You haven't seen her in a week. Your flight to Paris is tomorrow, you'll see and hug her again, or whatever else you two plan to do. You act as if you haven't seen her in years or as if she ran away with her secret lover or something. Gosh, you are unbelievable" Jisoo shook her head at her whining friend.
Lisa and Jennie lived together in Seoul since they officially started their relationship. A few months later, Lisa found out she had to fly over to Paris again for another business matter. The moment she stepped her foot on French land, her head was hit with the constant stream of memories flooding her mind. It was the place where she spent one of the best days in her life and where she found the thing, or more like the person, who kept them going for a long time more. It was the place where she found her other half.
