I was invited at the burrow for Christmas by Ron. Ever since we had been playing quidditch together, we had gotten closer. I was overjoyed at the invitation. I couldn't wait to spend time with his family. I spent the starts of the holidays with my family, but a couple days before Christmas, I apparated to the Burrow.

I knocked on the door and Mrs. Weasley opened it. Instantly she smiled and hugged me, welcoming me in. She had me sit on the table next to Ron for breakfast. "Ah! So, we finally get to meet Ronnie's little girlfriend." One of the twins teased. I blushed looking down at my food. "Shove off, George." Ron muttered.

"So, since you're here a little early dear, can you help with the decorations for Christmas?" Mrs. Weasley suggested. I nodded, "Of course Mrs. Weasley, I'd love to." I said. She smiled. I finished breakfast and Ginny led me up to the room that I was going to be sharing with her. I set my stuff down. "I honestly don't understand how with all the boys at our school, you chose to have a crush on Ronald." Ginny said. "First of all, I don't have a crush on him-"

"-Lie-" She coughed into her hands.

"Hey! I'm being honest. But besides that, Ron's so sweet and nice, and he's also really good looking. I don't know why you underestimate him so much." I finished. She rolled her eyes, "They were right: Love is blind." And then left to go downstairs. I also walked back downstairs, prepared to lend a helping hand.

Each person was paired up with another an assigned a certain task. Ron and I were matched up (coincidence? I think not) and we were given the duty to bake all the desserts. We had to make 2 pies, a cake, and a gingerbread loaf.

We got to work, taking out all the ingredients. I would read off the recipe and add in the ingredients while he mixed. Mrs. Weasley didn't allow us to use magic, so we had to figure out how to use the Muggle tools. After long hours, many laughs, and flour on our clothes and faces, we managed to finish baking.

The next day was Christmas. The whole day was filled with joy and laughter. We all handed each other our presents. Ron gave me a sweet cinnamon perfume and a note. The note said that he had another gift to give me after dinner.

That night we had a grand feast and a fun time. After dinner was finished, I followed Ron into the living room. He pulled out from his pocket a small golden bracelet with little stars and flowers all around. I admired it and put it on. "It looks beautiful." I told him. He smiled shyly. "Thought you might like it." He replied.

"Well, well what do we have here?" A voice said. I looked and saw all the Weasley siblings standing there. I stepped back from Ron looking at the floor. "Nuh uh uh." Fred said in a sing-song voice. With a quick flick of his wand, he conjured a mistle toe above us. Ron blushed hard and stepped back as well. Ginny smirked. "There's no way you're getting out of this." She said. I looked at Ron.

Without thinking I leaned up on my tiptoes and gave him a small kiss on his cheek. The Weasley siblings went wild, howling and hooting and I laughed. "Okay, okay that's enough." I told them. We joined back the dinner. I looked over to Ron who smiled back at me and I felt the happiest I had in a long time.
