Dipper sat at his desk in the Mystery Shack, leaning over his schoolwork. His eyes trailed over his textbook as his right hand wrote important facts in his notebook. He had been working for a few hours now, and his neck had started to hurt from staring down at his desk for such a long time. Dipper sighed, finishing off the last sentence of his English assignment. He leaned over to his bag on the floor and put the paper away in it, getting out his math textbook.

The door to his bedroom opened behind him. Not knowing who it was he turned around, smiling as the form of his boyfriend walked in. "Hey Bill, what're you doing here so late?" The blonde walked closer to him and answered.

"Shooting Star told me you were working on something up here and hadn't been down in a while. She sent me up here to make sure you were still alive."

"Oh. Well, I'm still alive. You can tell her she doesn't need to worry." Dipper said with a smile.

Bill hummed "I think I'll stay up here for a bit. Help you with your work, y'know?"

"Thats great, I've just got math left. I've only got this one problem that I couldn't figure out during class. I have to factor the top and find the least common denominator, but it was confusing me a bit so I was gonna wait until I got home and-"

Bill cut him off with a laugh. "I wasn't being serious, Pine Tree, but if you really want me to, I can explain how to solve it."

"Alright." Dipper nodded.

Bill sat on the empty chair next to him. "Well, to start off with your gonna need to need to multiply the top and bottom by-" Dipper stopped listening as Bill took his pencil and began to fill in the answers as he went along to the end of the problem, explaining the steps to a distracted Dipper. The brunet was distracted by the way the demon moved his hand across the paper, his hair bouncing as he would turn to look up at the boy to see if he was paying attention.

Dipper nodded, in a tired, trance-like state despite having no clue what the other was saying. Bill stopped talking, looking at dipper with a questioning look. "Are you even listening?"

Dipper blinked, the blonde's words pulling him away from his thoughts. He gave Bill a tired smile and shook his head, "Sorry Bill. I guess I spaced out."

"That's alright, Pine Tree. You seem pretty tired. Do you want to go to sleep?"

"I want to, but I've gotta get this math done."

"Nonsense." Bill stood up. "I'll finish the problem for you. I've already figured most of it out. You should get some sleep."

He held Dipper's hands, pulling him to his feet. Dipper swayed for a moment, falling into Bill's chest. Bill chuckled, walking the both of them towards Dippers bed. He set the brunet down, walking back over to the desk to finish the problem. Dipper pulled the blankets over himself, still sitting up against his pillow and looking at bill with a slight frown. "Aren't you gonna join me?"

Bill looked back at Dipper with a light blush on his face. Dipper blushed back, just now realizing what he said. "N-not like that.. I just-" "Hah! I know what you mean, Dip. I was just gonna finish that math problem for you."

"Aww, can you wait until tomorrow? I'm tired~"

"Hmm... alright. I'll just finish it after you fall asleep." Bill got up and moved to sit next to dipper on the bed. The demon pulled himself under the covers and rested his head on Dipper's pillow. The brunet leaned over the blonde to turn off the lamp on the table beside him. When he settled back to the bed, he curled up to Bill, resting his head on his chest, thoroughly enjoying the warmth that radiated off of him.

Bill reached his arms around Dipper, pulling him close, and keeping him protected, comfortable, and warm. Dipper found himself instantly relaxing. "Pine Tree?"

Dipper looked up at Bill with tired eyes. Bill slowly leaned in, placing a small, sweet kiss on his forehead.

Dipper relaxed into the bed even more, closing his eyes and letting out a peaceful sigh. "Goodnight, Pine Tree." Bill whispered to him. "Night Bill." The brunet whispered back as he fell into a calm sleep, dreams guarded by the blonde by his side.

Without getting up, the demon used his magic to finish the math problem that his little Pine Tree had trouble on. The blonde laid himself and the sleeping Dipper down completely as Bill drifted off into a happy slumber.
